Memory Loss (Eren×Annie)

Chapter 1

Eren's P.O.V

Its been six months since my fight with Annie. I should be furious at her, she killed many innocent people. Im also mad at Mikasa, and I've tried to avoid her. The day of the fight she had to come and help. I was doing fine! I didn't need her help. I've hardly seen any of my friends either. All I care about is knowing why Annie would do something like that. I mean she might seem scary, but inside she has a nice side. I blush at the thought.

"Oi Eren!" Reiner called. "What's up?" I say looking up at him. "You see that girl over there?" He says pointing at a girl with blonde hair that was tied into a messy bun. "That's Annie." "No shit Sherlock," he says pushing me closer to the girl. I'm basically face to face with Annie right now. "Now show her how a real soldier fights!" Reiner says pumping his fist in the air. "Wait, what?" I question him. "Fine by me," Annie says putting her bangs behind her ear and getting into fighting position. "Okay," I sigh. "But I won't hold back!" I say launching by first attack. In less than a second I'm already on the floor caughing dirt. "Woah! Where did you learn that from?" I ask Annie. She hesitates and finally says, "My father." I was about to ask if we could train together sometime but she was already walking off with Reiner. I ran up to her and grab her hand. It clearly took her by surprise because she blushed madly. It was the first time I saw her blush. Meanwhile Mikasa and for some reason Bertholdt as well, were both death glaring me.

I shook the memory off my head. I can't let my feelings get in the way of my training. I'm currently training in my room which is just above the dungeon where Annie's crystal is at. The next words spoken make every muscle in my body go tense. "She's awaken!" Yelled a soldier who was clearly freaking out. I on the other hand, ran lighting-fast to Annie's room. When I got there Levi, Hanji, and officer Erwin were examining the crack on the crystal. Hanji was squealing with excitement. On the other side of the room Sasha, Connie, Armin, Christa, and of course Mikasa, were standing viewing the crystal. Mikasa immediately spotted me and went to go hug me, which I awkwardly hugged back before pushing her away. Armin was next to come up to me and a short blond was holding his hand. "Hey Eren," Armin said scratching the back of his neck. "Hey Armin, long time no see." "Yeah," he sighed and hugged the short blond. "This is Christa, she's my girlfriend." He blushed madly at the last word. As much as I wanted to tease him I didn't have time. Suddenly the lights started going on and off, and the room temperature started raising. The crystal started releasing a hot steam which burned everyone's skin, except mine. As everyone stepped back I stepped forward. "Annie!" I yelled hitting the crystal. The crack remained the same but Annie opened her eyes. The second she opened her eyes a bright light filled the room and the crystal shattered into a million tiny pieces. "Eren?" Annie's voice echoed in the dungeon.
