Chapter 7

Annie's P.O.V

"Get ready, we're taking a little walk outside the walls.."

..Everything went black after that. Suddenly, the cloth that was covering my eyes roughly exposed my eyes to the blinding sun. After the beat up, my body recovered rather quickly. I remembered how to heal my injuries and crystalize my body. Of course I can't let them know.. I have to play my cards carefully. "We have arrived!" That voice. Captain Erwin along with the rest of the scouting legion, and Captain Levi standing by his side. "Hold it, brat." Levi scolded Hanji. "But we can't kill her!!" Hanji whined and argued, "She is an important test subject-" "Have you forgotten that she was the one who assassinated Swaney and Bean." At this Hanji stopped arguing and glared at me, then focused her gaze on the ground taking a few steps back. "We will continue the ceremony before any inconveniences occur," Captain Erwin gestured towards Levi, who simply nodded his head. They have the area surrounded, as expected. Even if I turn into a titan I won't make it. Besides, there's not like I have anywhere to go. I take in my surroundings; the whole scouting legion is here. They most of left the new cadets inside the walls along with the stationary troops. Everyone must be prepared for anything, I wonder if the military police is involved in this too. Seems like it. There is a small chance I'll make it, well, I won't know until I try..

It was another training day. Training from sunrise to sunset with no brakes. Years of difficult training, always obedient to my father. Just for it all to become regret and apologies. "Treat the world as your enemy, but father will always be on your side.." "Promise me you will come home.."

"Promise that you will come home.." I lightly chuckled. Was that ever, really an option...?

Eren's P.O.V

"..Armin.." I called. Hesitantly, he looked up and met my eyes. The veins were popping out on the sides of my eyes, this couldn't be good. "I need your help." Armin stared for a moment, sweat dropped from the left side of his head. His arms were dropped by his sides, tightly closed and trembling. "I.. I-I'll" "Armin," Mikasa's voice echoed after every word she spoke. I guess her little act is over. She quickly wiped her face and regained her posture. "I'll go with Eren, you stay inside the walls." My eyes widened at this, even Armin was shocked. "Mikasa! That is completely chaotic and dangerous!" He swiftly directed his gaze towards the ground, his blonde hair covering his eyes. "I.. I.. May not be of much help.. But I will still help humanity, if that means risking my life to die along with my comrades!" Armin nearly shouted. Mikasa tied the red scarf around her neck and nodded, "very well." Although, I know that she is just as shocked as I am. I suddenly felt my arms very light, Mikasa had removed the copper chains. (You know why it can't be metal) "Alright!" Although I'm still shocked of what just happened, there is no time. We quickly exit the dungeons and head for outside the walls. Hang. On. Annie. I'm. Coming...
