Memory Loss (Eren×Annie)

Chapter 8

Annie's P.O.V

I assume we where already somewhere deep in the woods outside the walls, I wasn't too sure since my eyes were blindfolded and I was practically chained. The sound of smoke bombs (the guns that shot colors, I forgot what they were called) and swords clashing echoed through the chilly air. "Up ahead! We can't let the female titan be eaten," Levi commanded. "At least not yet.." he murmured and kept moving. With a loud 'Holt!' the wagon suddenly stopped, causing me to fly forward and land painfully on the wooden floor. The cloth that was covering my eyes was now removed revealing Levi. "Get up, brat." Slowly, I moved, dragging along the chains that surrounded my arms and legs; never shifting my cold glare from him. Once I got off the wagon the morning sun blinded my eyes. 'Morning? Has it really been that long?' My questions were stopped by Captain Erwin's commands. I didn't listen to anything he was saying, I couldn't. Thoughts were flowing through me, my memories were coming back. The weird feeling that once haunted me was back. I remember what I need to do now. "Therefore," Captain Erwin continued his speech. "We shall put an end to this once and for all!" His hand was held up high in the air, every soldier in the scouting legion now had their weapons pointed at me. The next few seconds went by pretty slowly..

Eren's P.O.V

Thud! Armin's body had collapsed from exhaustion and he was now laying on his knees. 'Danm!' I groaned. "Armin," Mikasa spoke but Armin shook it off. "I'm okay." We continued running towards the gates. The hard part hasn't even started and he's already on his knees! My blood was boiling, every second that passed by could be worth everything I need to.. "Eren!" huh? I stopped dead in my tracks to realize we had reached the gates already. Armin came running to catch up with us, "Leave this to me." He said before disappearing to talk to the man who was closing the gate. I growled impatiently and started pacing around, we need to hurry and save Annie. "Is she, really that important to you?" Mikasa's voice echoed through empty silence. "What?" I questioned, not to sure I knew the answer myself. She was about to speak when Armin came back with a wide smile. "We're clear." I smiled brightly and ran through the now opening gate. The three of us made our way outside, just before I heard Mikasa faintly whisper, "I won't give up on you." I simply shrugged it off and kept running. Getting my blades ready I killed the tiny titan standing in my way. Once far enough, I transformed into my titan form, and continued our way through the outside of the walls.

The run for the forest wasn't so bad, we hardly encountered any titans. "That's odd," Armin murmured. He was sitting on my left shoulder while Mikasa stood next to my neck; both where crystallized to make sure they wouldn't fall off. I can proudly say that I have mastered the ability to crystallize my body, just like Annie did. My thoughts went back to wondering about Annie when we soon reached a gruesome sight. The whole scouting legion was annihilated (destroyed/killed). There, were the remaining corpses were being eaten by titans who were too busy fighting for human flesh to acknowledge us. Blood was scattered everywhere, 3DM Gears were stuck on trees and between titan's teeth. I quickly ran back to a nearby place that resembled some sort of village. I turned back into my human form and helped down Mikasa and Armin; Armin whom was too busy throwing up. "What.. What the hell happened!?" I started screaming out my anger. "Eren keep quiet!" Mikasa scolded quietly, but I ignored her. I kept yelling until I felt a stinging sensation on my left cheeck. Next thing I knew I was laying on the ground. I groaned in pain realizing that Mikasa had punched me. 'Just like "that" day' I thought. "H-hello? Is anyone there?" We all turned our attention to the sudden source of sound. Soon, a short girl with messy brown hair tied into a pony tail emerged from underneath the cabinet. I rushed to her sides and gripped her shoulders tightly, "Tell me.. What happened!?"

A/N: Hello everyone :3 I hope you enjoyed this chapter. I will try to update faster and I'm sad to say this but this book is almost coming to an end. I will try to make the next couple of chapters full of action and maybe crush some feels hehe~ who knows.. But anyways, I made the soccer team (everyone in the team hates me, specially the coach :D) so I have to go for two crappy hours of practice everyday, so I would mainly update on the weekends.
