Memory Loss (Eren×Annie)

Chapter 3

Eren's P.O.V

It's been two days since Annie woke up. Nurses and doctors have been coming in lately, they say Annie has lost her memory. I've tried communicating with Annie, I asked her what her objective was. She first asked dumb questions like who's Annie. But lately she's been asking about the Colossal Titan. She says she needs to talk to him, but I know she's just lost and confused. Knock knock. I open the door to see Bertholdt and Reiner standing outside. "Hey Eren," Reiner says awkwardly. "Any chance we could speak with Annie?" "Sure," I say letting them in. "I have to grab breakfast, I'll be back in ten minutes." Bertholdt closes the door behind me, giving me a cold stare. What was that about? I shrugged it off and walked to the cafeteria. Ten minutes later I carry both trays and head back to my room. Were I was greeted by Mikasa. "Eren," she spoke low and soft. "You need to get away from her." I could feel the venom in her words. This only made me mad, I shove her out of the way and continue to walk to my room. I turn around to check she's not following me, and to my surprise, she isn't. When I finally arrive, the door was slightly opened. I was about to walk in when I got curious to hear what they were talking about. "Annie, you don't seriously remember us?" Reiner questioned her. "Remember our plan? How we took down the wall together," Bertholdt said. I gasped when I saw Reiner walking up to the door. I hid under a nearby desk and let the trays on top. I waited for Reiner to dissapear into the hallway when I heard Annie screaming. I slammed the door open to see Bertholdt forcing himself on top of Annie. She was struggling under his tight grip.

Annie's P.O.V

The past few days have been nothing but a blur. I can't remember who I am or how I got here, I only remember one word and one word only. Eren. Now these two guys come in asking me a bunch of questions about titans? After the blond guy left the other guy, who was tall with dark hair, started crying. "Annie, you seriously don't remember us? We took down the wall, together." He held my hand and continued talking softly. "Its me, Bertholdt, we've been friends since we were kids." My head started hurting, images of a gigantic monster kicking a wall came into my head. "I'm sorry--" I was apologizing when he cut me off by placing his lips on mine. I tried to push away but it was no use, I haven't been moving so my body is weak. Suddenly the door bursts open and Eren walks in. He grabs Bertholdt by the shirt and sends him flying across the room. Bertholdt gets up and throws a punch, which Eren easily dodges. He seems shocked and walks away, "This isn't over Eren, Annie is mine and I don't care if I have to kill you!" He walks away slamming the door behind him. "Are you okay Annie?" Eren asks me. I don't know why, but I grab his shirt and pull him closer to me. I hug him tightly and start crying in his chest.
