Steves Pov: I watched as The girls and Dally left the Dx. Before walking out the door Lexi looked back and smiled at me, man did that make my stomach turn she had the most beautiful smile. I did it I actually did it. Me, Steve Randle is going on a date with a girl as beautiful as Lexi is. Just thinking about it made me smile I couldn't wait and man wait till I tell Soda. I hurried to the back to tell Soda.
"Soda! Soda!"
Sodapops pov: "Soda! Soda!" I heard Steve yell. I hurried to go see what happened.
"Steve what's wron..."
"I did it! I asked Lexi out!" He said with huge excitement in his voice.
"I knew you could do it you just needed a little time." I said high fiving him. "Thanks man." He said with a hug grin on his face. Man did he look happy I haven't seen Steve this excited since he got to drive in a car show a year ago. I was really happy for him.
"So where are you taking her?" I asked starting on the car in the shop.
"I don't know I was thinking of taking her to a movie or something." Steve said a little unsure.
"Oh. Well why don't you take her to eat and maybe take a walk and it will give you guys time to talk and get to know each other more."
"You know that is a good idea. Thanks Soda!" Steve said smiling.
I watched as he made his way back to the front of the store to work the register. I could tell he was really excited because the rest of the day he had a smile on his face and he did little dances once in awhile.
Emma's pov: "Okay what's going on?" I asked stopping in my tracks as Dallas,Lexi and I were walking.
"What do you mean?" Lexi said looking kinda confused.
"You know what! You have been smiling ever since we left the Dx. What happened?" I asked watching as Lexi's eyes little up with something I have only seen happen once before. "Spill!" I said waiting for her to tell me everything.
"Nothing really, Steve just asked me on a date tomorrow night." She said as a huge smile grew on her face. I couldn't help but get excited for her. "Lexi!" I said laughing and engulfing her in a huge hug.
"Uhm... I hate to interrupt your little girlmance but can we talk about this when we get back to the house."
We both turned to see Dallas who looked a little annoyed, you know he is actually really cute when he is annoyed.
Once we made it back to the Curtis house Lexi and I where beat. We were so tired and both just wanted to take a nap before we get cranky and end up blowing up on someone.
We sat on the couch together and laid down. I have known Lexi almost my whole life she my best friend well we are more like sisters. We have been threw so much together you couldn't even imagine. I tell that girl everything and I trust her with my entire life.
I looked over at Lexi who had fallen asleep I couldn't help but notice her little smile on her face. The way her eyes sparkled when she told me Steve asked her on a date, I only seen her do that once and that was with her ex. God I hate him! He made Lexi really happy but it wasn't real he just wanted one thing and he did anything and everything to get it but he still didn't get it thank god! He broke Lexi's heart and it killed me to see how hurt she was. Nothing has been the same since, Lexi hasn't anyways. Man I just hope Steve doesn't hurt her because if he does I'm going to kill him! I will do anything for my best friend and the last thing I want to see is her getting hurt.
