Nixie p.o.v
"I don't trust him, you guys are blind!" I yelled. Lyla looked angry, while Sirena just made a sad face. "We don't know him. and he let us down once. I won't let that happen again!" Angry I went out of the grotto, straight into the water access Rita got in there. I got my tail and swom as fast as I could outta there, away from Sirena and Lyla. They're trusting him, Zac. The merman who almost killed Lyla. Yeah, he helped her, but I don't trust him. The others do. Stupid, ugh.
I went into the café, I didn't want to go to the moon pool. I guess that would be first place where they'd look after me. Well, the café is the seconds place, but I don't know where to go. So I just sat down on a table and ordered a smoothie. Strawberry, mhm my favourite! I really like some things here on land, but I really, really wanna go back to the pod, i want my old life back.
My order arrived and I was focusing on it, to make sure I'm not gonna get wet. Having a tail in public is not what I want. Suddenly someone took a seat next to me. I looked up and saw Cam, with a big smile. "Someone's feeling bad?", he asked, still grinning like an idiot. I just rolled my eyes and turned my head in the other direction. "Hey Nixie, what happend?", Cams voice began to sound worried. "Why the hell do you think I'm going to tell you?" I said angrily. "Cause..uhm..", he started, but then he shook his head and stood up. "Nevermind.", he said. I was kinda confused. Cam's acting weird. But well, i didn't care about him. He's Zac's best friend, I can't trust them.
I watched Cam going out of the café, but then i spotted Sirena and Lyla coming in. So I stood up, and went out, followed from the girls. "Nixie, you okay?", Sirena asked worried. "Yeah, now leave me alone.", I said annoyed. "Nixie-". Lyla started, but I cut her off: "Lyla. JUST. LEAVE. ME. ALONE." Then the both were quite so I left the café. On my way to the beach I asked myself what I could do. I had literally no idea how i could stop Zac from getting the trident and taking it to the moonpool to destroy every mermaid. But I need a plan. QUICKLY.
Zac p.o.v:
When I came into the café to meet Evie, I saw Lyla and Sirena, looking very unhappy. So I sat down on their table and asked what happend. They were honest, and told me that they have trouble with Nixie because of me. "She doesn't trust you at all Zac.", Lyla told me. "But she has to trust you. We need her.", Sirena said sadly. "Okay guys, don't be sad. I'm gonna get her trust. I'll try, okay?" The girls smiled and me and I stood up.
"Hey Zac!" Oh no, Evie saw me. "Sorry Babe, I have to do something. Something important." "But we planned this since-" "I'm sorry. Okay? I'm sorry.", with those words I ran out of the café. She's gonna be mad at me again but whatever. Get Nixie's trust is important, because Nixie is important. Lyla and Sirena said that we need her, because there might be a chance to refuse what happend that night where I got my tail.
I had to search a long, long time to find Nixie. But I found her, sitting on the beach, facing the ocean. I sat down next to her. She noticed and looked at me annoyed. "What are you doing here?" "I've been looking for you since ages." I said, I hope I didn't sound too desperate. "I don't care.", Nixie said, and turned her face back to the ocean. "Nixie, I'm serious, you can't trust me. I understood how powerful the trident is, and I know it's better when nobody has it." Nixie rolled her eyes. "Prve me that you're not lying." she said. I looked at her really desperatly and speechless now. "You can't? Then leave me alone.", Nixie said, stood up, and ran straight into the water. I was about to follow her, but I didn't think it would make sense. She's not listening to me. Not at all. Fuck.

To make that clear: I started my story after Zac brought the trident back into the pool, and Cam didn't do anything bad, didn't wanted to get the trident to become a merman, so destroy the moonpool(!) Cam is nice in this story, but maaaaybe he wants to become a merman? But for diffrent reasons? who knows, who knows .. ^-^
