Nixie p.o.v.
Zac is so annoying. The whole day he tried to talk to me. He'll never get my trust. NEVER. He brought the trident back, yes, but where? On a place he can get it, when it's fulmoon. I just want to go back to the pod, is that too much to ask for?
"Hey Nixie! Wait!", I heard Lylas voice behind me. I rolled my eyes. Why can't she jjust open her eyes and see that she can't trust Zac? I turned around. "What?" "We have mermaid school now. Rita's waiting.", she said. "Is Zac goonna be there too?", I asked, but I didn't wait for an answer. The glance she gave me, was the answer. I let out a snort and walked away, straight to the beach. Lyla didn't followed me. I guess she gave up on me. Well.
At the beach i saw Cam, and thought about just leaving again, because I didn't want to talk to him, but it was too late. He already saw me. Cam smiled when he saw me, which kinda irritated me. I remember that day when I threw his phone away and we had to find it because there were some pictures of Zac as a merman on it. We were spotted together looking for the phone, and everyone thought we were a couple. After I "broke up", he said he likes the imagination of me being his girlfriend.
I don't know what I'm thinking, this boy cunfuses me. Nixie, he is a landboy, stop thinking like that.
Cam stood in front of me and I frowned. "What do you want?", i asked, slightly annoyed. "Nixie, please, I'm worried about you. You argue with Lyla and Sirena a lot lately, and you always seem sad or angry or whatever. You don't seem happy.", he said. "It makes me sad to see you unhappy.", he added, with waaay lower voice. But I heard it. That made me smile. But as fast as the smile appeared on my face, as fast is it gone.But Cam saw it.
He came closer to me, his hand running through my hair. I looked in his eyes, which are beautiful, and at that moment I was totally fallen for him. Shit. We were soooo close to kiss, but someone shouted "CAM!", and that ruined our moment. Istumbled away from him, giving him a cunfused glance, before running away.
WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT.
