The virtue of respect

I grabbed 3 of the utensils from the table in front of me and sent them out with such force, each officer had a kitchen utensil in his neck or h ad. They screamed in unison, Michel looked at me and I bolted. I slammed right threw the window and slammed into the air as fast as I could. I looked back Michel was starring at me in shock, his eyes pleading with me to come back. I shook my head and scoured the ground for May and the twins. They weren't hard to find, being may was well dressed, unlike half the city. I quickly touched down besides one of the twins, I still was unable to figure out who was who.

May looks at me, she forced a smile "what happened" her soft voice calmed my nerves. I shook my head "it was nothing..." I said "one of my friends was in trouble" I grumbled quietly. "Oh, are they ok??" May asked, pure concern laced her voice, I didn't under stand why she cared for people she hadn't even met. "Yeah, I think so" I said peering back at the cafe, "are you ok?" She put a shooting hand on my shoulder. I nodded my head "I'm just tired" I muttered, may nodded "why don't you head back to the hotel, me and the twins can handle this one" I didn't think twice before nodding. 

I didn't even wonder about chastity, my eyes where too heavy and all I wanted was to lay down and take a nice long nap. may went in her bowed purse and took out the small room key, pointing to a building behind her. "we're staying there, room 1 2 and 3 on the 2nd floor, we'll come get you once we've saved the captive" may said with a genuine smile as she rested the key in my hands. I was in room 2. I walked towards the hotel thanking may quietly, I stumbled up to the elevator and hit the up button. I stepped in, luckily no one was in there with me. I sat down on the small bar that zoomed across the mirrored wall. I almost fell asleep but was awoken by the loud 'ding' when the elevator came to a halt. I stumbled out of the elevator and headed straight to the room. it was nice, one king but with long brown posts sticking up from it.

I fell on the bed face first, not even bothering with the covers, the thought of bed bugs didn't even faze me.

Michel pov

I watched Lucifer as he floated through the air "hes still in the city" I muttered, leon grabbed me and annaleese and started sprinting for the door. I let myself get draggedby the young boy, still watching Lucifer's retreating form. "I-I think him being here also has something to di with chastitys disappearance, what if their together" I proposed as we ran down the street.

"no, chastity would not do that" annaleese said her eyes scanning the faces of the people who walked by. as I wasn't paying attention, I slammed into a girl. she had long light brown hair that framed her beautiful features, her almond shaped eyes where transfixed on me, curiousity lacing them. "sorry" I said quietly and started walking away, "its ok" she said I felt her eyes glued to me, so I finally looked back at her. "may we should go" two kids ran up to her, they where identical. I blinked and shook my head looking at annaleese again.

we arrived at claires house and I unlocked the big oak door. like always the piano was situated next to the grand staircase, its white paint glistening in the light from the chandelier. annnaleese drew the shades closed "we really should not stay here long" annaleese said, I nodded in agreement and my eyes flickered to leon who was scanning the house confusedly, I almost forgot about explaining everything, since he was not here for a while.

I patted the seat next to me, motioning for him to sit. he sat down beside me, I explained everything from my contract with the demon to zoe's death at he rown hands. leon looked down at his hands solemnly "so she really is dead?" leon asked in a quiet tone. "yes leon she is" I said and pressed my fingers on the piano "can you teach me to play?" leon asked me, "I want to play like zoe did..." leon had tears falling down his cheeks. I rubbed his back as his body jerked with every sob that escaped it. I didn't dare mention whats going on with Lucifer. as far as he knows Lucifer is still around, I tjink its the only reason he's stayed these past few weeks,

"of course I will" I said softly and wiped tears from his cheeks. he smiled at me brightly "thank you" I returned the smile as he wrapped his tiny arms around my torso. I patted his back softly feeling him grinning into my collarbone.

a/n I just had an idea for this. I have finales this week an dim kind of stressed out about them. also ive been catching up on anime, and reading the book Magus  (its here on wattpad, read it if you haven't, its really, really good!)
