Chapter 1

- Jae Hyun's pov -

" Jae Hyun, you'll be having a little sister now " My mom told me.

" Hello, I'm Kim Yerim but my parents call me Yeri " She introduced herself to me.

" Hi, I'm Jae Hyun " I put out my hand for her to shake it.

" How old are you? " She asked me.

" I'm 8 years old, how about you? " I replied.

" I'm also 8, I'm five months younger than you to be exact " She said.

" What happen to your parents? " I questioned.

" They left me home by myself and abandon me, that's why I came here " She answered.

8 years later, we were both 16 years old and in senior school.

" Did you guys pack your things for your first day of school? " Mom asked.

" Of course " We both replied.

After we had light breakfast, we left for school

" The bus is late today " I told Yeri.

" It better hurry cause I bet Mina is waiting for me at school " She said back.

The bus arrive a few minutes later.

At school,

" Jae Hyun ah, you grew more handsome " Yoora ran towards me.

" Ohhhh, look at those two " The whole class started whispering.

Yeri and Mina was talking in the locker area, the bell rang and everyone gather inside.

" Class I'm Ms.Jung and I will be your new homeroom teacher, today we will have a new student.. Please come in " She called.

A tall skinny guy came in,

" Hello, my name is Moonbin, let's get along " He introduced himself to the class.

" Welcome, please take a seat next to Yeri " She pointed at the seat.

- Yeri's pov -

He's so hot! His brown hair and black eyes cause me to stare at him,

" May I sit here? " He questioned.

" Ya, sure " I answered.

" Thanks " He said.

He's even polite ain't like other boys.

At lunch time,

Me and Mina was sitting in the table right behind the door,

" May I sit here? All the tables are taken " Moonbin asked.

" Of course " Mina replied with a smile.

He's so charming

" What made you move here? " Mina said to him.

" My father got transferred here because of his job so my whole family moved here " He responded.

" What does your parents work as? " Mina added.

" My dad is a business man, he own hotels and also work as a police for mayors, my mom is a dentist " He said back.

" That's cool " Mina smiled.

We continued eating awkwardly when he suddenly spoke,

" You're Yeri right? I heard your step brother is Jae Hyun " He mentioned.

I nodded and smiled.

" How long have you known Jae Hyun? " He questioned.

" For over 8 years " I answered.

" What happened? " He asked.

" My parents abandon me when I was 7 almost 8, so the only people who wanted to adopt me was Jae Hyun's parents " I explained to him.

" You're lucky to have Jae Hyun, he's a cool guy " Moonbin replied.

At dismissal, everyone rushed out of class and cause me to trip all the time,

" Why are you walking so slow? " Jae Hyun pulled me.

" It's just too crowded " I told Jae Hyun.

" I saw you with Moonbin at lunch " He said.

" He's a nice person, he has great attitude and it seems like he came from a rich family " I replied.

" Wanna go get ice cream first? " Jae Hyun pointed at the ice cream truck.

I nodded, we walked up to the stand and bought two ice creams.

" It has been 3 months since I last ate ice cream, thank you oppa! " I said to him.

After we finish our ice creams, we started to walk home

" I wish they had a bus that could take us home " I asked him.

" They do but it's only available at 4, only the public busses are available this time " He replied.

I was walking calmly when a car with the speed of a light came our way, Jae Hyun pulled me to the side when we both fell under a large tree.

" Are you okay? " He sounded really worried.

I just went unconscious.....

- Jae Hyun's pov-

I took Yeri to the hospital and called mom and dad to come as well. She was pale and didn't make a single action.

" She fainted cause of shockness, her heart beat was very fast so she lost conscious, her memories might be bad even if she wakes up cause we seem to find a slight problem with her brain, don't worry about anything and just pray that she will wake up soon" The doctor explained.

" Thank you, but does she need operation? " I questioned.

" That won't be possible for this kind of situation " He answered.

" Okay, thank you " I bowed to the doctor as he left the room.

My parents were buying porridge for Yeri,

" When are you waking up? " I asked the unconscious Yeri.
