"Have you recovered from last night?" Joe giggled, squeezing my shoulder as cameramen rushed around us. I decided that my 'not-remembering' act should start now. My thinking was that if the guys thought I simply didn't remember last night's events, they wouldn't bring it up, and we could move on from that horrible party. Judging by Joe's chirpy attitude, he couldn't of been all that angry about me punching his best friend's girl.
"What do you mean?" I asked innocently.
"Oh God, were you really that drunk the you don't remember what happened?" Q laughed.
"I remember having one too many and that's it," I lied.
"Right guys, you've got to be on camera in five!" A loud man cried behind me as another guy fixed mics onto the guys shirts.
"So do I need to be doing your makeup?" I asked cheerily.
"Oh, actually Kate's already done it... You can just chill until the next shoot," Q suggested. I felt a pang of jealousy in my chest, after all, it was only my second day and she was doing my job for me. I could tell Kate did not like relinquishing control.
"Kay," I said simply with a shrug, sitting on a bench next to other members of the crew. I noticed Q whispering something to Sal across the street which I hoped was about my oblivious memory of last night.

The guys began doing their thing, embarrassing themselves in front of the general public by completing random actions that they'd each created. I sat and secretly tried to conceal my laughter, avoiding Sal's gaze whenever possible. My phone vibrated in my back pocket but I ignored it when realising the shoot was finished and it was time to move location.
"Central Park next guys," a guy with a megaphone yelled as Shane guided me back towards the car. My face was stuck in a miserable frown, I think it was a mixture of a hangover, Kate and Sal.
"What's up?" Shane asked, sticking the key in the ignition as we drove to the next location.
"I'm guessing you weren't at the party last night," I assumed, sighing and leaning my head against the window.
"Yeah, I was," he laughed, "I just didn't think I should mention it," he smiled.
"It's just..." I started, "I really can't afford loosing another job," I said truthfully.
"I don't think you have anything to worry about," he stated, "the guys like people with spirit... And if last night proved anything, it's that you have spirit." I smiled at his words as I combed through my long, black hair with my fingers.
"Can I ask you for a huge favour?" I wondered, twisting in my seat to face him.
"Uh, I guess," he said hesitantly.
"Considering you're friendly with the guys could you just... I don't know, hear what they're saying about me and let me know if it's good or bad?" I said wincing, knowing it was a big ask.
"You want me to spy on my friends and report back," he clarified, furrowing his eyebrows together.
"Well I wouldn't put it like that but just, let me know if I still have a job or not," I said, over dramatically fluttering my eyelashes.
"Oh, fine," he sighed as I side hugged him with a thank you. Once I realised what I was doing, I pulled away from our embrace. Yep, and it was pretty awkward for the rest of the drive.
