Pain, Regret, Revenge

No she's not the same
And she puts her heart to blame
For being so naive
How did it ever think that you would never leave

No she's not who she used to be
Who was so content and happy
With a heart intact
Seemed it would never be cracked

No this isn't the real her
A painted face is all you see
A work of art constructed from tears and pain
Destroyed by her darkened soul's rain

No she is no longer here
Last night she shed her final tear
She said enough was enough
Took her last breath and gave up

No there was nothing you could do
It's sad that you never knew
That at night her wrists would shine in moonlight
With the ruby red so painfully bright

No she was never okay
No matter what you say
Her smiles were entirely fake
Her eyes tired from the painful nights you left her awake

Now all you do is regret and regret
Regret and regret until it drives you insane
Now look who is the one dealing with her pain
Revenge, sweet revenge, as her ghost watches you
Watching as you deal with what you put her through
