I Love You

I love you
An illusion so well constructed
The most beautiful lie ever told
They are just words
With a spell that blinds all

The mind is able to take off their masks
But the heart fails to understand
That the mask they see is not all that it seems
That mask hides the sea of lies that formed with three simple words
I love you

Those words used to hold value
A delicate value that was broken with lies
Now a value worth a penny
These words no longer have value
Only the value of the weight of its guilt

I love you
Do not let it fool your heart
For the words I love you
Are full of poison
Though it doesn't kill you
It makes you weaker
