Forgetful Colors

Until you decide if you will stay
I'll take a step back behind
Watch you go away
Soon I'll start to see
All the color drain in front of me
A black and white world awaits for me
As I wait for you to choose
Whether to paint it or leave it dark
I'll begin to become colorblind
By the time you say no
I would have forgotten what the word color meant
For my world is now pitch black
And there's no turning it back
Now I'm lost
With no color to guide me
The only color I'm able to see
Is the memory of you and me
