How could we have fallen apart
When I tied you to me
I guess the rope could not hold us
For it was hanging by its last thread
That last thread was our only hope
Or should I say mine
You decided to cut it
Saying it would not have held us for too long
You stayed where you were
While I fell into an endless hole
I'm still falling and falling
Wondering if you've decided to fix the rope
Or if you've decided to let me fall to my death
Because my love
That last thread could have held us for eternity
