18. Pow!

It was going on 2 in the morning. I couldn't really sleep. I was to worried about my mom.

Do she know that were coming to safe her?

Did Mark touch or do something to her?

What if the plan go all wrong?

Question were being thrown all through my head. I can't turn them off. My room was pitch black and cold. I laid on my back staring up at the ceiling. My head pounding.

I heard my doorknob being turned I sat up and grabbed my covers. The door opened and August head peeked through.

How did her get in?

Shouldn't he be at home?

He walked in and closed and locked the door behind him. He took off his shoes and hoodie. Then his pants and shirt. He climbed in the bed with his boxers and socks.

He grabbed me and pulled me to his chest and kissed my forehead.

"Why you ain't sleep?" He asked.

I shrugged. I laid back down and started playing with his chain.

Soon I begin to dozed off.

The next morning

I woke up and sat up looking around the room. I looked over and saw August sleeping his face was all scrunched up. I smiled a little and begun getting out the bed.

I went to the bathroom and started brushing my teeth. Once I was finished I felt a pair of arms wrapped around me.

"Whats wrong?" I say turning around.

"Nuttin, I'an feel you next ta me" He say in his raspy voice.

I smiled and pecked his lips.

(I'm going to skip to when they go get the mom)
10:47 pm

"Aight y'all kno da plan, Sneak and Chris and Rico y'all stay in da back, Teek, Mike, and Trav y'all in da front" August explained as the passed out rhe gear.

"Me, Mel, Kehlani, Dani and, T we going in, T and Dani y'all go find Kehlani mama aight, if any of y'all wanna back out na gon head cause once we get thea y'all aint leavin"

No one said anything.

"Aight cool I already got a couple of peeps in thea and outside so be aware"

They all nodded.

We were all dressed in black and had our mask over our face. I had my hair in a low ponytail. I was nervous but I had to be strong for my mom and August.

We all went in out cars. Sneak, Chris and Rico in one. Mike, Teek and Travis in another. Me and August in one. And Dani, Mel and T in another.

August was driving it was quiet. His hand was rubbing my thigh. Once we stopped at a red light he started stroking his chin hair.

I turned my phone off and put it in the dashboard. August did the same. After about a hour the car came to a stop. I looked at the big factory like building. It was old and run down. The other cars pulled up on both sides of us. August parked and turned off his headlights.

He looked at me. He grabbed my face and kissed me passionately. Once we pulled apart he leaned his forehead against mines.

"No matta what goes on in da you can't turn around fa no body ,aight? We in da ta get yo mama and get out"

I nodded.

"Let's pray"

He grabbed my hand and we bowed our heads.

"Lard we cum ta you ta'day because we wan you ta lead us and protect us from any harm. Please let us be allowed ta take Kehlani ma ta safety. Guide us ta safety also. Amen"

"Amen"

August and I got out the car and he walked around to my side. He opened the door and pulled out two guns. He handed me one.

He grabbed my hand and pull us behind the others. Everyone went into their direction. Mel stood in front of us and we stood at the door for a minute. August looked between Mel and I and he nodded then he kicked the door in.

Shots started going off. I grabbed my gun and held it up. I saw a man hold up a gun also. He pointed it at me. I hurried and pulled the trigger watching his body fall to the ground.

Once we cleaned out the first floor. We went up to the second. We shot anyone on sight. I started looking around for mom.

"I'm finna go check da other rooms" Mel say walking away.

I started looking around while August went into another room.

There is no hope she isn't here

I looked out the window and saw Chris and Travis walking around looking.
The heard the sound of a gun. I gulped and slowly turned around becoming face to face with Mark.

"Awn look at my baby, you so grown up" He say smirking.

I looked at him. "Where is my mom?"

He smirked again and snapped his fingers. A heard tussling and noise and two buff man came in with a lady in their hand.

The lady lifted her face and I noticed it was my mom. I wanted to cry, her face was bruised and she was dirty and filthy.

The threw her making her fall to the floor with a loud bump. I started to run to her but Mark raised his gun and pointed it to me.

I stopped and looked at him. The other two men raised their gun at me.

"Drop your gun" Mark say.

I still held on to it. Then I slowly put it on the floor.

"Kick it over to me"

I kicked it over to him and his foot stopped it. He bended over picking it up and then stuffed it in his waistline.

He snapped his fingers and the two men left out.

"You see Kehlani this all could of been avoided, if you gave me wait I wanted" He say as he walked over to me. "I loved you and your mother but now you had to disobey me"

"Mark you are sick" I say shaking my head.

Show no fear.

"Ooo, Kehlani grew some balls huh?" He smirked as he circled around me.

He rubbed the gun across my chest. My tucked my lips.

The two men came back in throwing two other people inside. I looked and saw it was August and Mel.

"Ooo look who we have here, Kehlani little boyfriend" He smirked.

August looked at him and then spit out blood. I looked at my mother as she laid on the floor she haven't moved much. I really want to run over to her.

My thoughts were interrupted by Mark cold hand rubbing over my body. His hand moved down to touch her I grabbed it.

He raised his eyebrow and smirked. He pulled the clip of the gun and fired.

Pow!

I looked and saw blood gushing out if the side of my mom leg. Her screams filled the room.

I tucked my lips trying not to cry.  Tears ran down her face.

Pow!

Pow!
