Nyx's POV
I need to forget what happened, it's been 7 years since that day!
A few tears rolled down my cheek as I remembered it, I was running I needed to get out of this place and go outside without bothering to get a coat. I ran outside with the tears running down my face.i let out a shaky breath as I rolled up my sleeve to see the long scar going from my elbow to my wrist. This scar it's the one thing I never told Aria about.
And I broke down.
Sobs wracked through my body.
And that's when I heard someone.
" Princess?"
I looked up slightly to see Dmitri standing there.
" Oh princess " he said sadly, while running over to me wrapping his arms around my frame.
As he held me in his arms, he strokes my hair and whispered caring words in my ear. After a few minutes of him holding me he said" Princess what is the matter?"
" Please you can't tell a soul Dmitri" I whispered.
" I won't I promise " he said.
" well then.. Back when me and Aria were about 7 I wanted to go to this old quarry near where we lived... But Aria she fell... I thought she had died... She got to the hospital in time but she was already in a coma she didn't wake up for a month...I've never forgiven myself for it.. She got so hurt because of me..." I choked out.
" It's not your fault Princess you did not push her... But princess if I may ask what's that scar?" Dmitri spoke his Russian accent prominent.
" That day I ... Ari was not the only one to fall... But me I didn't... All I got was a long cut in my arm because... God I'm going to sound insane but there were these creatures like demons and they came and tried to take her I thought them off but I got this scar in turn for it... You don't believe me do you Dmitri?" I said.
" I do believe you princess, there's a story in the Volkov family history that certain ones have these demons that come and go ." He said concerned.
" what does it mean?" I whispered scared.
" It means the one with the demons must die" he said slowly.
"I'm going to die?" I spoke quietly.
" It seems your future is written out Princess but, you will die for something important and you shan't die in vain "
" Dmitri will you protect me, I accept when the time comes I must go but... For now "
" Always Princess till your very last breath..."
