Chapter 6

So... I might be developing an ulcer? And I know not a whole bunch of people read this book but I was wondering what people would like to see in this story???

I opened my eyes to hear Jason whimpering on his side of the bed. Rolling over, I saw him curled up in a ball with his back facing me, his small body shaking violently.

"Jason bud" I whispered and reached out to comb my fingers through his hair that was growing longer. He jumped and gasped for air.

"Mommy?" He whimpered, rolling over to give me a teary look.

"What's wrong baby?" I asked, pulling him to my chest where he fisted my sweater and clutched my hair.

"Scawy man..."

"Again?"

He nodded and wiggled even closer to me.

"Austie?" He looked up at me hopefully.

"Do you want to go see him?" I cooed, pulling his hair back out of his face. He nodded and hid in my neck as I stood up and set him on my hip, traveling down the dark hallway to Austin's bedroom. I didn't bother knocking before opening the door and walking over to his bed.

"Austin.." I whispered, shaking his shoulder slightly. He rolled over and rubbed his eyes, mumbling something. "Aust... Jason wants you"

He opened his eyes and held open his arms open, I set Jason on his chest before turning to walk out of the room before I felt a hand on my hip.

"You can stay too..."

I bit my lip as his gravely voice sent warm chills down my spine and warming the tips of my toes. Smiling to myself I turned around and climbed under the covers, snuggling into Austin's much larger and much warmer body. I felt him chuckle before he wrapped his arm around me, warming my skin instantly.

"Are you okay Bub?" Austin asked Jason, rubbing his back with one large hand.

"Scawy man take Mommy again.. An you dis time Austie.."

"Well we're not going anywhere. If the scary man tries to take your Mommy then I'll call him a dummy remember?" He asked, making Jason giggle.

"Wuv you Austin" Jason hummed and rested his head on Austin's chest.

"I love you too bub" he smiled to himself before looking over at me, who was trying to stay awake.

"You can sleep." he pulled me closer before kissing my forehead softly, letting his lips linger on my skin.

"Are you sure?" I look up at him with tired eyes. He chuckled and kissed my nose

"You need to sleep" He whispered and let his forehead rest on mine. I smiled and rubbed my nose against his softly before moving down to hideout in his neck. Austin rolled over onto his side with Jason so the small boy was trapped between our bodies before pulling the blanket more securely around the three of us.

"Goodnight Alan," Was the last thing I heard before my eyes slid closed and sleep pulled me under.

"Alan"

Someone shook me softly.

"Mm Mm" I shook my head and pulled the blankets over my head.

"Yes"

I thought I had been left alone before the blanket was pulled off me, making me shiver and curl up into a ball. The bed shifted and I felt a large body hovering over me as tender kisses were pressed from my hair line down to my jaw bone. I whimpered and opened my eyes to see Austin hovering over me, leaning on his forearms above me.

"Come on, we made breakfast." He smiled and kissed my cheek again.

"We?"

"Jason and I"

I laughed and held my arms up because it's too early to be awake. Austin rolled his eyes before easily picking me up and setting me on his hip. Sighing contently, I nuzzled into his neck and locked my legs around his waist. As we ventured closer to the kitchen, the smells of syrup and bacon wafted towards my nose, making my stomach rumble.

"Mommy!" I lifted my head when I heard Jason yell before hearing small feet running across the kitchen. Austin sat me down in a chair before grabbing two regular sized plates of food and one small plastic dish for Jason.

"I made waffles!" he giggled while Austin smiled happily down at him.

"Austie made bacon" he giggled again before picking up a small piece of waffle.

"You guys did great" I complimented as I saw one of Austin's maids throwing away an empty box of frozen Eggo waffles.

"We work really hard" Jason nodded and continued eating. I smiled down at my plate, feeling overly giggly.
