So after dinner we said our goodbye and they went home and it was time for us to rest. After cleaning we prepared to sleep. I was in my bed think about my gift. Suddenly it rained so hard. I can't sleep because of the rain sigh. Anyways I just thought of Ellie, her gift and her kiss.
Sigh... I wish she was beside me sleeping tonight.
Suddenly someone came to Grandpa's house we were alarmed in the middle of the night. They told us to evacuate in the evaluation center. We pack our valuable things. And went right to the evacuation Center right away.
We all panicked and was so afraid. We don't know what to do at this time because of the rain. They said that the river was over flowing. I was so frightened. But rather than to panic I just stayed calm and prayed. Then suddenly I sighted 2 people that were familiar... ELLIE'S PARENTS. I came to see them. So I asked them
"Where is Ellie?"
The Ellie's Mom cries more. I didn't meant to let her cry but I want to know where she was. Suddenly her Father spoke up.
"The man came to alarm us, we were getting ready to evacuate but she said she would get something in the tree-house. After that she didn't came back. I wanted to go there but we can't, it's already flooding, I don't know what happened to her." (cries)
I can't believe she went to the tree-house even if she would risk her life.I was so worried for her. Now I was in real panic. Suddenly I remember that I got my phone. I tried calling her 5 times,
but nothing. I tried one last time. And I was lucky it rang. After I while she answered it.
Conversation:
Ellie: Nathan?! NATHAN! Help, help!
Me: Ellie?! Where are you?!
Ellie: I'm in the tree-house... He-he-help!
Me: Don't worry I ask help!
Ellie: NO! Never mind, the river is already high! Just stay there.
Me: No! I would go now.
Ellie: Now, I'll get mad if you go! Hehehehe
Me:Ellie?!
Ellie: Say I love you to Mom and Dad... (cries)
Me: What?! Ellie, don't say that! Please Ellie... (cries)
Ellie: I LOVE YOU!...... (No Signal)
I panic. I asked for help. But no one listen. I tried going there but my family stopped me. I did nothing but ask for help but no use. So I just cried and cried.
The next day the river went back to normal they allowed us to go back.When I heard that, I ran so fast to the tree-house. When I got there Ellie's Dad were just staring and her Mom crying and hugging a girl on the ground dead. I didn't believe when I saw the face... I cried so hard.
They send he to the funeral. I can't believe it.
So at her funeral everyone that knew her came. I just cried the whole time.
At here last day, where she would be already buried. We brought what was on the tree-house. I let her necklace. We said our goodbyes. We had \ balloons and when she was now buried we let go of the balloons as a sign of letting go. I remembered her last words
"I Love You!"
I LOVE YOU TOO, ELLIE! ... I would never forget you!...
