« Third Persons POV »
She raised her brows and crossed her arms, looking at Gray with a serious expression. "What's the catch?" She said as she frown.
Gray arched his brows and look at her with disbelief, "I offered you a place to stay and you look at me accusingly?" He asked as he look at her with awe, "What an odd person you are." He added as he pointed at her from head to toe.
"Shut up!" She glared at him, while clutching the strap of her bag.
"Ladies first." He spoke and smirk, making (Y/n)'s head tick.
"Fine, I'll go with you." She said as she walk towards the direction of Gray's house. He followed her obviously, while putting his hands on his pocket. "Do you even know where you're going?"
She catch a glance at him and continued walking, "Yes."
Her eyebrows are knitted together the whole time she walk due to concentration and frustration, making Gray gave out a hearty chuckle.
She was walking for a good ten minutes when her legs gave out, and as quick as lightning Gray grabbed her in the waist.
"Are you okay?" He asked with full of concern but you can hear a hint of annoyance.
She really looks exhausted, beads of sweat are rolling from her face.
"Do I look like I'm okay?" She shot him a glare as she laid flat on his chest.
She can't help but feel good—something about Gray made her heart churned and make her feel at home.
He chuckled at her answer,
Even this time she still managed to give him sassy remarks, it made Gray smile inside."I'll bring your bags." He spoke as he carry her bridal style and grabbed her suitcase and her backpack.
(Y/n) can't help but blush, what is he doing?
People are staring!
"Put me down!" She yelled frantically, trying to escape from his grip.
"No." He answered bluntly and started walking.
(Y/n) was literally struggling and Gray was literally annoyed, "Could you stop moving? You might fall." He ordered as he shot her a glare.
(Y/n) mumbled inaudible words but listened anyway, Gray smiled victoriously and spoke, "That's a good girl."
When they arrived at the apartment, Gray threw (Y/n)'s figure on the sofa, she yelp obviously. "You idiot!" She yelled with rage and massage her head, it literally bang on the hard wood that was attached on the sofa.
He didn't even apologize, he just gave her a smirk and walked towards who knows where.
She hissed and scan every corner of his apartment. She absentmindedly nods.
His apartment was big, alright. Bigger than hers, she was actually in awe, he has a freaking fireplace, a flat screen beside it—it was basically a place for aristocrat.
She sighed heavily, as she whispered "When can I have an apartment like this?" She rubbed her eyes sadly. She missed her apartment.
Gray went out from his kitchen holding a glass of water and frown when he notice her change of mood, her aura was now gloomy–different from what he saw moments before.
He sauntered towards her with a cloth on hand, "Clean your face, it's filthy." She looked up and was met by a pair of onyx eyes and instantly hissed.
"You're mocking me." She growled as she grabbed the cloth from Gray's grasp.
"I know." He chuckled and sat down on his red comfy sofa where the (h/c) girl is sitting.
[TIME SKIP]
Gray was just chopping some apple when (Y/n) hopped into his island and put her palm on her chin. She smiled sweetly at him but he just look at her with a blank look. "You want these aren't you?"
She nods vigorously as her eyes sparkled. "Figured." He whispered as he put the green apples on a small plate.
He hoisted the plate towards her and she accepted it with glee. "Thank you~" She chirped and started munching the sweet fruit with a delighted expression.
Gray couldn't help but stare at her with awe, she's way more different than humans he met before—not that he didn't really exactly know her, but seeing her this close is a dream come true.
He was literally gawking and
(Y/n) doesn't seem to notice it, she was busy eating. And if you can't tell, she likes apples (If you don't like apples then just change it into another fruit, neh.) very much.
After she finished the whole plate she started feeling a pair of eyes staring deep into her soul, she started feeling. . . uncomfortable.
She look up slowly and saw Gray looking at her with his mouth wide open, she raised her brows as a tick mark appeared on her forehead. "Why are you looking at me like that?" She asked confusingly.
Gray's eyes immediately shot wide and a dust of pink was visible on his face. "I wasn't staring." He stuttered.
Dammit, That wasn't really convincing, he thought.
"Kay." (Y/n) shrugged as she started walking towards his living room.
She was walking cooly but she can feel her cheeks heating up, "Idiot."
