« Third Persons POV »

"Slow down will you?" Gray hissed as he fasten his pace, (Y/n) was running ecstatically like a child she is.

"Don't you dare snap at me, you just rejected me you asshole." She grumbled as she gave him the dirty finger.

Gray raised his brow, "I told you I didn't really reject you." He emphasized as they arrived at the shop, it was a few blocks away from his apartment and he adored the mouth watering flavors.

It's just a humble ice cream parlor with a family oriented theme, it's main color was pastels and white that made the store more soothing than it actually is.

(Y/n) wowed with awe, her mouth was agape and watering, Gray couldn't help but chuckle at her childish behavior, "Come on." He spoke as he grabbed her arm pulling her towards the door.

After ordering, he sat at the nearby seat and was followed by the (h/c) girl that was still in awe, "Is this your first time in here?" He asked and was answered by a vigorous nod.

They were silent the whole time, (Y/n) was still scanning the whole shop while he's staring at her with an annoyed expression.

"Neh (Y/n)," he called out slightly leaning towards her, (Y/n) immediately gave her attention to the blue-blackish haired man instead of the eye catching murals hanging on every edge.

"Yes?"

"Do you have a. . .boyfriend?" He suddenly asked out of the blue.
Making the (h/c)-haired girl's ears and cheeks flare up.

He was asking it with a straight face for Pete's sake!

"Um. . . It was years ago."

"Mind telling me who it is?" He asked curiously, slightly anxious. He didn't even know why.

"It was Natsu." She answered bluntly while gulping the glass of water in just a minute.

"WHAT?!" Gray yelled dramatically earning a few glare from the other customers around.

(Y/n) was trying hard not to stifle, his reaction was just priceless.

"I'm kidding. Geez." She spank him lightly and giggled. "I never really have one."

"Oh." That's the only word that came from his mouth.

He thought she dated that pink fairy, cause if she did, he'll gonna tore him to pieces.

"Here's your order." An overly happy girl approached them with two cups on hand.

"Thank you." They answered with synchronization making the waiter giggle.

When she placed the two glass on the wooden table (y/n)'s eyes sparkled with delight while Gray chuckled at her reaction.

"Aww, you two are really cute! Your charisma was dominating the whole shop." She squealed making Gray and (Y/n)'s eyes pop. "Such a cute couple, your eyes widened at the same time too!"

(Y/n) was practically fidgeting, what would she do? This girl was shipping her and Gray like crazy and she feels kind of good about it.

"Umm, we're not actually dating." She mumbled while playing with her locks.

The girl suddenly frowned and was looking like she would cry, "Really?" She sniffed.

Oh crap! She was about to say a weird explanation when Gray grabbed her wrist quickly placing it on the table and lock her hands with his.

She could feel the warmth illuminating from his body and it practically made her cheeks burn.

"She's lying right now. We're actually dating." He told the girl with a soft smile.

The small petite girl's eyes lit up in an impulse, "Awww, onee-chan you liar!" She softly giggled and spank (Y/n) softly.

(Y/n)'s eyes widened like saucers, what the heck is Gray talking—And he said it with a believable tone! Arsh!

Her heart was beating out of her chest right now, She couldn't help but fiddle with her fingers.

"So you're dating, right?" The girl chipper. (Y/n) gulped loudly, she's too cute to lie on.

Gray gave her a wary look, like saying just-go-with-the-freaking-flow

"Ahhh, surprise! We. . .err. . .dating." She raised her hands awkwardly.

"Okay, time to go now~ have fun with your boyfriend onee-chan!" She chirped happily and gave (Y/n) and Gray a 90° bow in which the two answered with a slight nod and a smile.

When the girl exited, Gray winked flirtatiously at her and slowly released their intertwined hands. "So, ahemm." Things went a little awkward right away. "Let's grant the little girl's wish."

(Y/n) gave him a puzzled look, "You mean that cute waitress?" She asked clearly.

Gray slowly nods and smiled sheepishly at her.
"She didn't even wished anything." She spoke as a matter of factly.

"Oh she did." A smirk suddenly crept on his flawless face making her spine shiver.

She didn't like that look, it's that kind of look that says 'You'll-gonna-love-it-to-the-core'

This guy has many things on his sleeves.

"You can be my date for a day." Oh that sentence just made her helpless soul float away from her body, exaggeratedly.

"What are you implying?" Her forehead formed a tick mark.

"She want that and she's wont be living that long she have lukemia, so better grant her wish before it's too late, hmm?"

The moment she heard that, She suddenly felt sad, that girl was optimistic and has a pretty good vibe.

"Fine." She made a face and looked away, a tinge of red crept on her cheeks. "But don't think of it as an—"

"Yeah, I know." Gray cut off. "Your ice cream is melting, eat it will ya?"

She looked down and noticed it really was melting but before she can even shove the spoon on her mouth Gray whispered seductively, "So, let's talk about each other my pretty little date."
