When I was 214 years old I met Cinderella. I was still a teenager! Just a baby. And I have to say I did pretty amazing. I didn't think the two would last, honestly. Prince Charming wasn't that cute and was a bit of a jerk. He was spoiled and he thought he was intitled to everything. Charming needed a good awakening.
Fairies have it harder than everyone else I think. Sure we have wands and wings. But we can't fall in love with humans and fairy guys are too pretty for my liking. Fairy men use too much polish on their wings and like getting manicures. They are a bunch of fruitcakes if you ask me.

I'll tell you whose cute, Leo. But sadly I can't date him. I wish I could keep him for myself but he's going to be someone elses and that's ok. This isn't the first time I thought one of my clients was cute.
Walter Hobs, 1890, was very handsome. Everyone thought he was going to be the next president; he came to me for help to find him a future first lady. Along the way I fell in love with him. He didn't love me and I was distraught. I paid a witch to put a curse on him. I didn't care what the curse was. Walter Hobs finally came out of the closet and that's why he wasn't our next president. America wasn't ready for that kind of change in the late 19th century.
But I do love the moment where two people who are meant to be first meet and the connection you see in their eyes. It's a beautiful moment and it makes my heart beat faster. To see someone fall in love, it's amazing. Love in its purest form is beautiful.

He's late. I pace in my office.
"Gary!" I yell. Gary fumbles in and has wide eyes.
"Yes ma'am." I raise an eyebrow. "Yes miss?"
"Call Leo, find out where he is." I grumble.
"I did miss, three times already." Gary stutters.
"Call. Him. Again." I bite down on every word.
"Yes miss," he runs out.
"And cancel all my meetings for the day!" I yell as I grab my purse and hide my wings. "I'm going out!"
I pop to the farm and march to the door. You don't bail on me. It pisses me off. He better beg for my forgiveness. I knock on his door and his mother answers the door.
"Oh hello." She smiles.
"I'm sorry to bother you ma'am, but is Leo here?" I ask politely.
"No he's on his way back from school." She says to me.
"Oh," I sigh. I start walking down the stairs.
"But you can wait here for him." She opens the door.
"Oh thank you ma'am." Might as well be nice to someone in this family. I walk inside the small farm house and follow the woman into the kitchen.
"Would you like some coffee? Tea?" She offers.
"Oh coffee please." I sit at the table and the women hands me the cup of coffee.
"I'm Laura by the way. So how do you know David?" Laura asks.
"Oh um. We are working on a-business deal together." Really? Business deal, that's the best you could come up with?!
"Really? How fascinating." She goes back to doing the dishes.
"Your house is lovely." I look around the tiny kitchen.
"Thank you. My late husband built this house with my older sons. Are you and David-like dating?" I laugh.
