Chapter 9

ERZA'S POV

The morning really wasnt special or different than regular days here in the police station.

"Erza the guys have come back" Lucy pulled my arm and dragged me out of my office  downstairs to where Levy and them had came back. They were taking off their coats and jackets right outside the main door.

"How was the mission?" Lucy ran up to Levy and hugged her like there was no tomorrow. 

"Great it was great everything went smoothly" Levy awkwardly hugged Lucy back.

"Thats nice to hear" She gave Gray a man hug which he returned even though Juvia was secretly trying not to look jealous, she obviously was failing miserably.

"Gray i think you should get back to Juvia she looks a bit lonely without you" I gestured at Juvia which caused both of them to blush.

"Juvia wasnt lonely" She lied but the rest of us just glanced at each other and shook our heads slightly.

"O-okay" He looked at the ground and shuffled his feet a bit.

"Gray are you okay?" I placed a hand on his shoulder purposely asking him.

"U-uh yes i am now if you excuse me i will be on my way to the gun room" He coughed then slid his way around us into the hall leading into the training room.

"Juvia will also go train then" She sprinted after Gray disappearing almost right away.

"I feel bad for them they both love each other but none of them confesses, it kills me!" Lucy slid a hand down her face and Natsu pat her on the back.

"That reminds me of a certain person called Lucy" I sang which only caused me to earn a smack on the arm.

"Geez Lucy when did you get so violent" I rubbed my arm as the rest of them laughed, i joined in afterwards.

"Shut up next time Erza" Lucy whispered, I glanced at Natsu and he seemed confused by what i meant.

"I'll try my best but no guarantees"

"Urgh! Erza!" Lucy whined at me but i just simply winked at her.

"Guys lets go back to our jobs" Gajeel ushered us out through the main hall and into the police office rooms.

"Okay" We walked back into the the office area, i walked upstairs to my office seperated fom the rest of the polices.

Checking my watch i counted the time reading 11:30 i guess we really were caught up in reuniting even though they were only gone a morning.

"I'm going to deliver lunch if anyone needs me you know where to find me" I shouted from the middle of the stairs, everyone nodded since i didnt want them to stop their work just to acknowledge me. I am a very understanding police officer.

"Hey Erza wait come here" Lucy called to me once i had reached the bottom of the flight of chairs. She was standing at the bottom of the stairs holding a stack of papers.

"What do you need Officer Lucy?" I used my formal voice but Lucy just rolled her eyes at me.

"I dont need anything Chief.....But is it just me or have you been visiting the prison very often these few days" Lucy started speaking in a loud tone but ended whispering the rest in my ear.

"Yes i have" Lucy was the only person who didnt seem to register in her brain that being his police in charge i have to visit often.

"I knew it you like the Jellal person dont you?" She bumped my shoulder but i moved causing her to bump plain air.
