Kiba's POV

Pain raged through out my body, every limb was numb, and everything finally went black. I heard echoes of the stupid girl. "Go head and kill me... I'm at my limit!" I mumbled impatiently. A few moments later I heard it again. "Hikaru stop!" she said!? Was she trying to protect me!? I felt her soft hands around my waist, as I was being carried away from the battle field. I felt someone wrap a rough bandage around my back, as small droplets of water, like... raindrops fell onto my wound. I heard someone crying beside me... but who? I didn't have any friends nor family! Slowly I opened my eyes. Facing me was the stupid girl. her eyes red and swollen, and was she... blushing!? She faced me with horror "Ah!" she yelped and fled. What was her deal? I was so tired, hurt, and confused! How did I get here!? Wait, one of her friends killed me right? No... Did she save me!? But before I could say anything pain struck my body and I lost conscious.

Hours passed and I finally woke up. Slowly sitting up, I looked around. A few fox nurses glared at me with horror. What's their deal? I climbed out the bed and walked out. "T-thank... you" I mumbled as I left the den. Slowly I walked through the lush green forest, sparkling with morning dew. I see her in front of me. "Hey, stupid girl! Why'd you save me!?" I roared. Rolling her eyes she said "First my name isn't stupid girl its Yuri! Second... I've never seen anyone sacrifice their life for others, whether its fox or wolf." She's getting more annoying by the minute! "Yeah!? Well you didn't have to save me! We were sworn enemies!" I growled. That obviously got her mad, stepping forward she roared "I was trying to help yo-" her face went blank as she tripped on a rock and landed in my arms. She faced me blushing as she tried to cover her face with her hair. "What the hell do you think you're doing!?" I roared. But her hands were already wrapped around mine as we stared into each others eyes.
