Yuri's POV

My face was burning red, as I lay in his warm, soft, arms. His face was blank as we studied each other. "I l-lov" I started but he pushed me away blushing. We both stood there awkwardly silent. What was I thinking!? Minutes passed as we stood there still blushing, but suddenly he pulled me close, and gave me a quick kiss. "Thank y-you for saving me, I wasn't quite ready to die..." He mumbled. What did he just do!? What did I just do!? Why is my heart beating? We're enemies at war! But I couldn't keep myself from telling him "I... I love you" as the day started to dawn we headed back to our dens. I lay by Hinata wishing that he would finally get better, "I'll fight for you!" I wispered, as I went up to my room to get ready to sleep.
The next day in the battle field the war still hadn't ended and our population was decreasing by the minute! I stood side by side back to back with Kiba as we wispered sorry while slaughtering each other's kind. "Just retreat! You're going to lose!" He growled. I glared at him, "No way! We'll keep fighting " I replied. As he slashed at one of my friends I stood there helpless as they wispered "traitor!" Then again I promised I wouldn't interfere as long as he didn't stop me from killing his kind. But I couldn't take it anymore! I faced Kiba just as he was about to murder Hikaru. Kiba's eyes were hungry for revenge but he stopped cold when he saw me glaring at him.
