Magician's Magic

I'll start by telling you the truth.
A magician's magic isn't real.
It's all an illusion,
A trick on your eyes to make you believe the impossible.
Now, with me telling you that, you probably see the advantages of this.
For example, impressing people or just for fun.
But as I said before, it's an illusion to make you believe the impossible.
So magic can also be used to hide something.
I know a pretty good magician that uses magic for one reason.
To hide his pain.
Doing magic takes alot of constant practice.
It can take hours, weeks, months, years, even decades just to understand how a trick works.
Then the practice can take just as long, if not longer.
Then you have to perform it for people.
There is alot going on in the magician's mind during the performance.
First, he has to remember how the trick is done.
The routine, the positions, the angles, the little bits to get the trick done.
Then, he has to focus on not fucking up the trick.
You can practice all you want, but no matter how hard you practice, you can still fuck up.
Lastly, he has to keep his cool after the trick is done.
That's when the spectators get excited and ask him to do it again. So he does.
And he goes through the exact
Same
Process.
When all is done, the spectators have no idea that the magician has problems.
They're not thinking about it.
And
The magician' has forgotten that he's had a problem in the first place......
Temporarily.
Then he feels the pain again and again and again.
And he begins the entire cycle again and again and again.
That's how a Magician's Magic
Works.
