After dinner we went on a walk in the park down the road from our dorm. It was absolutely amazing. There were small blue and pink flowers everywhere. The moon was shining on the small pond down the isle. That's right. There was a isle. I was wondering how he even knew about this place but i was too amazed at what was standing in front of me. Somehow Zach had gotten around me at some point and was standing in front of me on one knee with a small red box. I was scared. I am definitely not ready for marriage plus we didn't even know each other well.
Jaya: Zach. I don't know what to say. I'm Not Ready To be married. I don't even know you that well. I'm too young
Zach: calm down. It's not a ring and I'm not proposing. It's a locket.
Jaya: oh. Well. Thank you zach.
He opened the little box held deeply in his palm and it revealed a small golden locket in the shape of a heart.
Jaya: thank you so much zach. I don't know what to say. It's beautiful.
I looked into those chocolate brown eyes and saw so many emotions but some of them weren't good. I saw his eyes go from happiness to a quick flash of love but soon they went to anger and sadness.
Zach: it was nothing. It was my grandmother's and you remind me of her so much that I figured why not have something of hers.
Jaya: thank you zach. I really appreciate this.
I gave him a quick peck on the lips as we walked back to the dorm rooms.
