Aiden...

♡Jaya's POV♡

I got a message from Aiden at 4:37 am asking for me to meet up with him. I figured it must be important if he was texting me this early in the morning.

*texting*

Aiden: hey. Can u meet up with .even right now. It's important. Meet me in my room.

Jaya: hey. It better be this important otherwise I'm gonna kill you for waking me up this early and disturbing my beauty rest.

Aiden: it is. I'll see you in a few :)

Jaya: alright.

*texting over*

I made my way to his room all the way across the hall. I know it doesn't sound like a far walk but at 4:38 am it feels like I'm walking a mile. I've known Aiden since I was four. We have been best friends forever and here lately his been acting weird and I've been wondering what's wrong with him but with all the drama with Zach, I haven't gotten the chance to.

I finally made it to his door and he pulled me inside quickly making me lose my balance and fall. I was about to hit the floor when a pair of muscular arms grabbed before I could feel the impact.

Jaya: what's wrong Aiden. Why did you cam me here this early.

Aiden: Jaya. I have to tell you something that's been haunting me since the 12th grade.

Jaya: yes....what is it?

Aiden: I love you. I've loved you all my life and when we broke up I knew I wanted you back and seeing you with Zach has made me relize that I want you more and more each day.

I didn't know what to say because I always wanted Aiden back but I couldn't after what he did to me. I've been through a lot and he knew it. He knew that I was sensitive and still broken from him and yet he still shattered me even more. We worked it out eventually to where were still friends but I never knew that he was feeling the same way as I did. I wanted to take him back so badly but I was scared that if I did, he would just break my heart again.

Aiden: I know you feel the same way about me because I can see it. The way you look at me. I can tell that you want me back.

Jaya: *starting to cry* I. I don't know Aiden. You broke me once and now I just. I just don't know. You left me for her. Her of all people. You left me vulnerable when I needed you the most. I needed you and you let me down.

Aiden: I know and I'm sorry. I didn't know what I was doing. I was younger and stupid. You know I would never intentionally hurt you. I was drunk and you never gave me a chance to explain.

Jaya: Aiden. I don't know. Just give me some time to think. Please.

Aiden: alright. I'll always be there for you no matter what you choose. I just want you to know that.

Jaya: I know. Night Aiden.

Aiden: night princess.

I walked back to my room with my heart in my hand and instantly fell asleep when I reached my bed. I'll think about this all in the morning.
