Finally after months of procrastinating and awkward conversations Bucky found the courage to ask out his long time crush, (Y/N). ((Steve might have helped ^.^))
He was super happy, until he realized he didn't know what qualified as a good date in the 21st century.

(Y/N) answered the door of her apartment to see a blushing Bucky in a dark blue suit holding (favorite flowers).
"Oh Bucky, they are beautiful. Thank you. Please come in, I need to put these in a vase." (Y/N) said rushing off to put her flowers in a vase.

Walking down the street (Y/N) soon realized she had no idea what was going on ((Airhead *cough cough*).
"Ummm... Bucky?"
"Yea?"
"Where are we going?"
Blushing Bucky answered timidly, "Well I don't really know what kind of things people do for dates these days so I decided to take you somewhere I would have gone before... uh... you know..."
"Oh ok!... So, where ARE we going?"
"Here."
Bucky opened the door to a small building letting her walk in first. (Y/N) looked around to see pink and white stripped stools, a jukebox, and a malt machine.
"Oh Bucky! I LOVE malts!" (Y/N) cried hurriedly running to a booth and plopping down. Bucky chuckled lightly at his date's enthusiasm and sauntered over to the booth.

After finishing her malt (Y/N) got an idea. She went over to the jukebox, inserted a few coins, and flipped through until she found the perfect song. Swaying her hips to the music she danced over to Bucky and held out her hand.
"I know in your original time girls didn't do much of the asking.., but Bucky, will you dance with me?"
Soon (Y/N) and Bucky were waltzing around the shop and other couples even joined in. When the song ended they walked out, arm in arm, flushed and breathless from dancing and laughing.
"I really had fun with you. And I give this date a 10/10 in any time period."
In response Bucky leaned in and stole a kiss.
"And I give that kiss a 10/10, but I think we should do it again just to make sure I judged correctly."
