The Unexpected Encounter

Chapter 10: Love

I ended up skip school for three days. I don't know how should I face Soonyoung.

Should I say sorry?
Or should I just ignore him?
I don't know what to do.
Everyone send messages asking me how do I feel now, am I ok.
Basically I'm fine except not receiving any messages from Soonyoung makes me feel a bit sad.

Knock knock

Huh? Who?
I open my door and I see Jeonghan hyung infront of me.

"Hey Jihoon are you ok?" He asks with worry.
I didn't expect he will come... But I did let him came into my room. I ask him to take a seat and I ask "Why you come and find me? Don't you need to go to school?"

"Well, Seungcheol is very worry about you. And he told me to talk to you as I'm a quite good listener he said." He replies.

And it become a little bit awkward as I'm not really close with Jeonghan hyung seriously.

"So... How's you and Soonyoung?" He asks.
"You know how it is." I say.
"Would you mind to tell me more on what actually happened? 'Cause Seungcheol only said you guys fought but didn't tell me the details." He says.
"It's just simply i push him away 'cause he was too close to me. And the next day he started to ignore me." I says.
"Well, then you just need to apologise to Soonyoung and that's fine." He says.
"I've tried to talk to him but he kept escaping!" I say with frustration.

It's really frustrating that I kept on approach him but he kept on escaping.

"No wonder you shout at him on sunday." Jeonghan hyung replies while looking down a little bit.

How should I reply him.... It's seriously awkward....

"Um....Jihoon? What do you think about Soonyoung?" Jeonghan hyung suddenly asks.

"Soonyoung?" I mutter....

"Soonyoung...Is a good friend, a very important person to me because of him, I get to know more friends... He is very cheerful, and he brings happiness to me." I reply, I don't know how to use words to express my feelings towards Soonyoung....

Then I see Jeonghan hyung lifts his eyebrows up a little, he then asks "So....What do you feel when you are with Soonyoung?"

I stop for a while, my mind suddenly floats out the moments I had with Soonyoung. From the first day we met, saving him from the gang, the ghost house, every single memories I had with Soonyoung.

"Weird...." That's all I could say. Because it's really weird...

"Weird? How weird is it?" He asks.

"I don't know why, spending time with Soonyoung always makes me feel like butterflies in my stomach... Am I sick? My heart always beats a little bit fast when I'm with Soonyoung , is it abnormal? Sometimes my hand even have sweat, is it the weather nowadays too hot?" I ask, I really don't know why.
"Last time Soonyoung leaned so close, he even pointed out that I was blushing and sweating....I don't know why....Everything is so weird...." I continue.

"Jihoon," He says, I then look at Jeonghan hyung. "This is love." He continues.

Love?

"Yes, you are sick. It's love sick. No you are not abnormal because it is normal for every single people who are in love. No the weather isn't very hot recently, you're simply sweating because Soonyoung is too hot. Everything is not weird. The feeling you have is not weird, it is love Jihoon." Jeonghan hyung continues.
