There are risks and costs to a plan of action, but they are far less than the long-term risks and costs of comfortable inactions. - Anonymous

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do, so throw off the bowlines, sail away from safe harbor, catch the trade winds in your sails.  Explore, Dream, Discover. - Mark Twain

"Your blocks were broken, and since you had so many, they had to be ripped out of your core one by one." Harry winced and opened his eyes. Standing up, with some help, he was escorted to the door and back the way he had come.

Your wand is ready child. Maji whispered in his ear.

He finished his business with the goblins and rubbed his hand. He had to fill out mountains of paperwork which took longer than it normally would have, because he had to have everything read to him. While he was there, he also had his name changed. He was now legally referred to as Corvus James Black.

(AU- this is who he will be referred to as from now on)

Sometimes he wished that he wasn't blind, but them he remembers what Tom told him, "Just because you are blind doesn't mean you are weak. In fact, being blind means you are strong. It shows that you adapt, and change, unlike these useless sheep called wizards. It also gives you an advantage, people pity you. They underestimate you, they think your weak. It is your advantage. Use that. Use it and wield it as you want."

Tom was his life force, his friend, the figure he looked up too, and the person he adored. Corvus just wasn't sure what he would do without him in his life.

Corvus sighed and shook his head, he needed to concentrate on finding Jordyn. Why didn't he put a tracker on that woman? She should just stay in one place, but he had been gone a while so she could gave gotten bored and wondered off.

Gods she's like a child sometimes. Corvus sighed yet again and shook his head, might as well go get his wand. That is if he can find the shop.

He pouted and looked around as he left the goblin bank. The auras were blinding so he quickly turned off his vision. It was times like now that at he wished he had his cane.

The airport security took his cane when they tried to get on the plane. They classified it as "unknown" and "dangerous" which was just dumb and bull shit. So what if he had a cane? He was blind, not dumb, it's not as if he'd bring a weapon around muggles, just to get arrested. Do they even arrest 11 year olds? Well, either way he wouldn't want to go to jail because he knows what goes on in there.

He shivered again and shook his head. Closing his eyes, and turning on his vision, he slowly opened them, letting the light from the auras dance around. Corvus knew he wouldn't be able to find the place on his own, so he gently accessed his link with Maji.
