"Muggle contraptions." Draco said in a snotty voice. "Absolutely useless things where magical beings are so much better."

Corvus shook his head and smiled. He didn't have to see to know that Draco probably had a sneer on his face. He had been in that compartment a whole of 20 minutes, and he could already tell their personalities. It was an interesting process and when the train slowed to a stop five minutes later, his new friends helped him leave the train when they noticed he was blind.

Corvus smiled when a small rush flowed through him. The magic... He felt such a connection to the castle and he had only just crossed the wards. His new alliance's walked next to him in a deep conversation over quidditch while he enjoyed the tingling in his skin.

He followed the others, into the mass of children as they hurried over to the bellowing voice.

"-irst years! First years over 'ere!"

"Common Corvus! Let's not be the last ones!" Draco's voice sounded to his left.
