Throughout the centuries there have been men who took the first steps down new roads armed with nothing but their own vision. - Ayn Rand
·***·***·Harry sighed, a shuddering breath leaving his chest, causing his broken ribs to expand painfully. He coughed as smoke entered his lungs and used the dark force in him to place a bubble of oxygen around him. Instantly the air cleared and he looked around for auras in interest.
The ruin surrounding him made him smile, a dark smile that chilled the boiling air around him. He had burnt down the orphanage, all that was left now was a smoldering ruin. The fire flickered and the orange flames cast strange shadows across his face. Something in him unfurled and Harry shuddered as inky black tentacles wrapped around him.
Great job... I'm proud of you.
A sense of accomplishment flushed through him and he smiled. Oh god how he loved Tom.
Happy 6th birthday Harry.

"Freak!"
"Witch!"
"Abomination!"
The insults kept coming and Harry curled up. Well as much as he could with ropes tying him up. He wished he could see his attackers faces, but all he could see were their auras. Pink, purple, and yellow assaulted his eyes and he saw that none of the people who attacked him were magical. His lip curled in disgust, muggles...
Destroy them Love. They have hurt what is mine. Kill them all! The dark, arousing voice commanded.
Harry complied, letting his dark magic undo his binds. Standing up, he stepped forward and brought his hand out. His magic wrapped around the muggles and lifted them up. They struggled and twisted, trying to get away, but he just clenched his fist, severing their heads from their bodies.
Well done.
Harry let a smile curl his lips and Tom quickly told him to block his emotions and put his mask on.
Harry's eyes filled with tears as he quickly sat in a corner, and pulled his knees up. Sirens sounded out side the building and he quietly sobbed.
People burst through the door, yelling and screaming before they finally noticed him.
"Sir, I've got a kid in the corner..." one of the officers called as he neared Harry.
"A kid? Why in the bloody hell is there a kid here?" A female voice asked, her tone coated with disgust.
Harry kept crying, huddling further into the corner as if to protect himself. Harry flinched when a hand touched his shoulder and quickly curled into a ball.
"I'm sorry!" He gasped out as sobs wracked his body. Tom's mouth curled up in a smile at the child's great acting skills.
