Normal people won't be able to feel this kind of presence, but let me be honest. I'm not someone you can call "normal". Right now, I feel like I'm in some sort of Anime where I am the heroine, and the evil of the story is lurking around until we meet for the first time.
I slowly put my hand inside my pouch and held a weapon in my hand which is a wooden cross. It's not much, but this wooden cross serves as the right tool for my ability. This person... is clearly coming straight for me. I can't shake this feeling that something bad is going to happen if I don't act first. I turned around taking out the cross out of my pouch. I was trembling so hard that I accidentally dropped it, and it flew by in the middle of the crowd. I immediately ran towards my cross to grab it, trying to excuse myself from all the people in the line. I was afraid... not just for my safety but for everyone here today. This malevolent presence is dangerous. I picked up my cross, but I was too late. This person was already behind me. I slowly turned my head to see what this evil presence is and what I saw was a familiar face.
"Hmm, something wrong?" he asked as if there is dirt on his face. There was actually dirt on his face because it was the same dirty old bum that was sleeping on the bench earlier.
"Uhm, no, no, I was just surprised." I was surprised that a bum like him is standing in line with the important people.
We just stared at each other for a good minute until he just clicked his tongue and walked away. Just behind him was that cute angelic girl with the glasses who just followed him very closely as if she was chained to him.
I exhaled and tried to catch my breath. It was the most terrifying moment I've experienced my whole life. I sat in the middle of the crowd trying to gather my thoughts. As suspicious as that bum is with his angelic assistant, they don't seem to be the source of that malicious presence. The people in the line started to get mad at me for just sitting in the middle of the line. I quickly stood up and apologized to them. As I was about to head back to where Tracy is standing, a beautiful woman wearing black sweater and jeans stopped me on my tracks.
"Excuse me, sister. You seem to have dropped this," she said with a smile on her face.
"T-Thank you," I grabbed the wooden cross that I call my weapon and put it back inside my pouch. As I was about to introduce myself and tell her that I'm not part of any church, she already had walked away.
