The howl of wolves was all Alduin needed to know his Kulaas was in trouble. He hadn't gone far, wanting to be near her in case she needed his protection. But he didn't think he could stay close and risk ruining her life any further. However in that moment nothing matter but finding her and saving her.

She wasn't hard to track not with an angry pack of wolves on her trail. He was just about to breach the tree line when he heard her shout: "Feim zii gron (fade spirit bind; become ethereal)!" and watched as she jumped off the mountain.

"No!" In a panic he threw himself past the wolves who had run to edge after their prey but stopped from better judgement and off the side after her. She landed at the bottom unharmed but watched in horror as Alduin hit the ground legs first with a sickening 'crack'. She rushed to his side, seeing an unnatural protrusion in the calf of his left leg.

"What did you think you were doing?!" Sizaan was yelling, her mind racing on what to do to help him. She knew the bone would have to be set and quickly but what would she use for a cast?

"I was coming to help you!" He groaned, grabbing his injured leg in an attempt to stall any further pain.

"Well you're not very good at it!" 'Tree branches!' Moving hurriedly she broke off three sturdy branches and brought them to where Alduin was seated. His leg was beginning to swell and turn a deep purple color as his breathing became uneven.

"Who jumps off a mountain?" He groaned, trying to remain calm but beginning to fade out of pain.

"It was only a small cliff, a ledge really. And it seemed like the best option at the time." Sizaa shrugged ripping off the bottom of his trousers for fastening. "Now...this is going to hurt. A lot." Alduin nodded his head, biting down on the third stick she had brought. She place her hands at the wound and after a paused grimace pushed inward forcefully.

Alduin screamed. Or at least he thought he had. He screamed so loudly in his mind he was sure it would shatter his skull and wake the entire country side. But Sizaan heard nothing. Only the silenced agony his countance shouted through her eyes. She worked faster, placing the remaining sticks on either side of his leg and then tightly securing them with the clothing strips she had ripped. Once the bone was set properly she preformed a healing spell, sealing the break and easing his pain.

He gasped, letting the stick that he nearly bit in half fall to his lap. He was grateful for her help but not enough to let her off the hook for her recklessness. "I'm sure you know more than that one shout in fact I know you do, I witnessed you breathe yol (fire*). Why not set the beasts ablaze?"

"I hadn't thought of that." Sizaan shrugged and turned to wash her hands off in the stream he had fallen by.

"No of course you hadn't because you're a stupid young girl who can't go a minute alone without being attacked!" He was angry. Angry he had failed at saving her once again. Angry at not being strong enough again.

"I'm sorry that my first instinct isn't to kill like you!" She was angry. Angry he thought she needed saving. Angry he didn't see she was strong enough to save herself.

"No your first instinct was to run and jump off a cliff like a mad woman! Do you have an idea what I would have done if you had gotten hurt, or worse killed?" Sizaan scoffed in response.

"I don't know leave my body for the crows? You already left me once."

"That was a mistake I shall never make again Kulaas." Kulaas. He always referred to her by her last name. Kulaas. Princess. The way he said it though Sizaa didn't feel it was a name, but a title. He was calling her princess. She didn't know how she felt about that. She wasn't his princess or anything more than his vahlok and yet it made a part of her feel warm, almost joyful. But it wasn't her name, not the one she was referred to by.

"My name is not Kulaas it is Sizaan."

"Sizaan...Kulaas..I thought? Even if not you would prefer I call you Lost than Princess?"

"Well given our current situation...it is more accurate." She smiled and they both laughed. A dry empty laugh that followed a near lethal situation. A laugh, a light, in a moment that could have been very very grim. But that laugh drew their gaze to one another in an anger mirth and held it there. They stared into each others eyes for a long time, each searching for something within the other they couldn't name. Sizaan was the first to break the silence.

"M-hm.." she cleared her throat, turning her gaze to the skies around them. "It's nearly nightfall again, we should camp here and continue towards...where ever it is we decide to go in the morning."

"That seems wise, Kulaas." He grinned mischievously and Sizaa only shook her head with a sigh at his tease.
