This Can't Be Happening

Paige's P.O.V.
I woke up still in Ben's arms, I rolled over and check my phone I had a text from my mom.
Mom- Paige, I
know that you are on tour with Ben and I really don't want to tell you this, but your aunt Kimberly has passed way after being in a terrible car accident. I'm so sorry.
I must have read that text at least five times until it hit me. My aunt and I were like best friends I was always there for her and she was always there for me. I couldn't believe it. I started crying quietly until Ben woke up. "Babe what's wrong?" He has some concern in his voice. I showed his the text and his face fell he held me close and shh-ing me. "Do you what it is like knowing that someone so close to you passed and you haven't seen them in so long, that you can't remember when that last time you said 'I love you' to them?" I was fighting the tears. "Yes, I do, I lost one my best friends Chris Holley a year ago on 6/14/15 I miss him more and more everyday." Ben's voice was shaky I knew he was trying not to cry. It was now my turn to show sympathy I held Ben close while he let a few tears slip from his eyes."I think we should get up" Ben was trying to get his mind off Chris. Ben got out I followed behind him. "Why does it look like you two have been crying?" Sam asked concerned about us. I gave him my phone to read the text, then passed it around. "I'm so sorry Paige" Sam spoke quietly. "It'll be alright, I'm here for Paige." Denis was looking me almost feeling my pain. "I'm sorry for your loss." Cam said looking at me was a sincere look. "I'm here if you need anything or anyone to talk to, I'm so sorry for your loss." James was hugging me lightly. Then one by one they all gave me a hug then one big group hug. "Ben why does it look like you've been crying?" Denis asked confused "I-I um told h-her ab-about C-Chris." Ben said looking down on me then resting his chin on my shoulder crying. Everyone has met Chris and knew how good of a person he was. Chris passed at a young age and it's terrible that it happened. But he was tour doing what he loved when he did pass.
Ben's P.O.V.
The whole band knew Chris but I was closer to him than the rest for the band. "Ben I'm sorry for asking I should have known." Denis said sadly, I knew he felt bad. We all walked to the back lounge and put in a movie. We watched 'The place beyond the Pines' it was a good movie. We all watched the whole movie in silence not even speaking to each other. When I got up I walked to the front of the bus the bus driver 'Ted or Teddy' was sitting at the table "Warped isn't playing today and maybe not even tomorrow the way the rate the thunder and lightning show is" Teddy had a bummed tone in his voice, he loved watching us perform. I nodded and told the guys they nodded and started playing video games. I climbed into my bunk and opened the laptop and popped in my earbuds and watched the slide show that they play at Chris's funeral. There was a bunch of photos of him and I and the band with him. It was heartbreaking. Paige opened the curtain and I slid over she sat next to me and put her head on my chest and she fell asleep. I fell asleep a few minutes after.

This chapter talks a lot about Chris Holley he was one of Ben's friends he passed on tour on 6/14/15. It was a year ago. I wrote the chapter on 6/14/16. Also in the chapter 'Warped tour back in action' I also talk about him a little. I also put the song that Ben wrote for him in that chapter. I tried to keep everything true about Chris. I know that he was a good guy and he was Ben's guitar tech also. So the whole band knew him. Sorry about the depressing chapter.& the photo is a pic of Ben and Chris.
