Your parents NEVER asked you anything?! But your there son, what kind of parents would never ask anything? Anyways, did Robert mention his parents at all? You said they were dead or... something, what is that something exactly? So who was more skilled you or him? And, good job on your marks!
My parents had no care whatsoever about what I did in my free time. As long as I got a good job made money and got married. My Dad only paid for my education and only cared about my grades.
My Mom she gave me pocket money for whatever I wanted...
Robert never mentioned his parents.
