No One Told Me

Chapter 4

"Ok..." I dragged out.

"What do you see?" Sasuke asked.

"Well, a black line just slowly appeared on my arm," I calmly replied.

I coughed and murmured, "Sasuke, why is there a line on my arm?"

"I'll tell you over dinner tomorrow night?" Sasuke suggested.

"No, tell me now, please."

"If I tell you, will you promise to go on a date with me, dobe?"

"Bastard. Just tell me!"

"Not until you promise," the chuckled sentence came from the phone.

"Fine, I promise. Now tell me before I start to have a panic attack!" I growled, starting to breath heavily.

"We are soul mates. I figured you didn't know about it, but wasn't sure. Your reaction just confirms my suspicion. Don't freak out, please, Naruto," Sasuke explained.

"F-freak out? Ha. I'm completely calm after your explanation," I wheezed out.

"Naruto-"

"Sasuke, I'll see you tomorrow," I quickly interrupted him and hung up. I dialed Tsunade just as fast.

"What do you want, brat?" She growled into the phone.

"Why didn't you ever tell me about soul mates!" I screamed into the phone, hyperventilating slightly.

"Calm down, Naruto, please! I was trying to tell you-"

"Trying? Trying?! You should have done it instead of trying and now I'm having a panic attack because I just found my soul mate who I never knew could have existed! How have I never learned of this? At all?!"

"Naruto, are you okay? I heard screaming?" A sleepy Nagato asked, walking into my room with a blanket wrapped around him.

"I just found out soul mates exist through Sasuke, who is my soul mate, by the way," I cried out.

"Naruto, calm down," both Nagato and Tsunade said.

"I-I can't. I think I'm going to pass out," I got out before darkness swarmed my vision.

Sasuke's point of view

"Shit, shit, shit! Why'd I do that?" I kept reprimanding myself, hitting my head.

"I'm such a dumbass," I sighed.

"I agree, but what did you do this time, little brother?" An amused voice said from the doorway.

"Big brother! Tell me, what should I do? I just revealed I was his soul mate when he didn't even know soul mates existed! He freaked out and hung up on me. Now I'm worried," I said while biting my nails.

"Hn, foolish little brother. No use in worrying about it. He will get over it in time," Itachi grunted out, coming fully into the room.

"I know you haven't found your soul mate, but that doesn't mean you have to take it out on me," I frowned.

"You're right. I'm sorry, brother," Itachi sighed.

"Just write down your address or something! Tell them to meet you somewhere, just do something so you aren't a whiny little ass all the time."

"Watch your language," Shisui yelled from the hallway.

Itachi just glared at me.

"Sorry, I'm just taking my distress out on you," I sighed, running my hand through my hair.
