Naruto's POV

This sucks. Of all places Sasuke takes me, it's a fancy restaurant where I feel the most out of place. We've been making small talk as each dish was brought out, but once dessert came, I'd had enough.

"Sasuke, let's get outta here and do something that's actually fun!" I suggest, hopeful that he agrees.

With an uncertain look on his face, he replies, "Sure... What did you have in mind?"

My grin wide and a bounce in my step, I grab his hand and drag him towards the door. He stops me with a huff and goes back to place money on the table.

"Whoops." I rub the back of my head and snort, feeling a little sheepish at how excited I reacted. Sasuke just shook his head with a slight up-tilt of his lips, grabbing my hand and leading me towards the car.

Sleek and black as night, Sasuke's little Sedan was a little surprising. At the mall, Sakura and Ino felt it necessary to tell me who my soul mate was and revealed that he was one of two heirs to the Uchiha fortune. Other than the fancy restaurant, Sasuke seems to be careful with his money. His clothes, a plain white shirt under a black jacket with black jeans and what looks like converse, weren't high end and seemed to come from stores that I would shop at. No expensive jewelry, nothing fancy in his car. But damn, he looks absolutely gorgeous. He could be a model...

"...be. Dobe. Dobe! Hello?" A hand waves in front of my face and I realize I had been checking him out for way too long.

I clear my throat, a blush began blooming on my cheeks, and open the car door. I quickly type in the address on my phone and buckle up.

"So, where to, dobe?"

"Don't call me that! And it's a surprise."

"What kind of surprise, dobe?"

"I said stop, bastard!"

"Why, dobe?"

"Grr, just stop!" I grind out and tell him when to turn. The rest of the ride was spent in relative silence.

Finally, after what seemed like an hour, the park came into view and I began to bounce in my seat. As soon as we are parked, I jump out of the car, run to the other side, and grab his hand. Pulling him from the car and leading him to our destination, happiness seemed to flow from my every pore.

"Where are you taking me, dobe?"

"Just shut up and you'll see, bastard," I beam, glancing back at him and seeing the sun shine on him, making him even more beautiful. My breath hitches in my chest and I stumble before turning back towards where I want to go.

After another five minutes of walking, the trees clear to show the edge of the cliff. As we get closer, the lake below starts to show itself. A huff of air is let out behind me. Thinking it was in annoyance, I turn around and open my mouth, ready to give Sasuke a piece of my mind. However, once I saw the look in his eyes I quickly shut it and admired him. His strong jaw, amazing cheek bones, and expressive eyes made me feel star struck. I turn back towards the setting sun and sit down, motioning for Sasuke to do the same.

"Isn't it beautiful?" I breathe out, taking in nature at its finest.

He stays silent for a minute before letting out a little, "Hn." I snicker back, never once looking away from the amazing view of the sky turning different colors. If only I could capture this moment-

Click, shutter.

"Hey! Did you take a picture of me?" I yell, turning to see Sasuke with his phone out, pointing towards the sun. Oh. "Oh."

A slight smirk danced on his face, making me suspicious of him.

"Dobe. Why would I take a picture of you?"

Sasuke's POV

I totally took photo of him. He just doesn't need to know that.

Naruto's POV

As the stars and moon replaced the sun, we decided that it was time to go home.

"Ugh! These stupid bugs won't stop eating me!" I whine, slapping at the insects that dared to bite my delicate skin.

"You're the one that wanted to come out here and stay until dark."

"You weren't complaining!"

"No, but you are."

I grumble and repeat what he said in an obnoxious voice under my breath. A sudden slap to the back of my head jars me from my grouchy state.

"Hey! What's that for?!" I turn to look at him only for our lips to connect. My eyes widen before they slowly close. I wrap my arms around his neck as the kiss deepens, sparks shooting through me and lighting up behind my eyes. After what seemed like a second, our lips part, our breathing rough and ragged, and his arms slowly unwind from my waist.

"W-wow," I manage to get out.

"Hn. Finally made you speechless," he whispered against my neck. I could feel his smile against me. I giggle airily, lips still tingling from aftershocks.

Sasuke lets me go and grabs my hand, leading me back to the car. High off the kiss, I follow him in a daze. I couldn't get it out of my head. I want more. I could easily become addicted to kissing him. I hope that doesn't happen, otherwise I'll never get anything done.
