2: She Did What??

Aaron's P.O.V

As the meeting goes on, I continue to think about what this would do to Aph. I knew I was right about not letting her into this meeting.  It is getting to serious and the issue at hand is not one she would like to hear.  Knowing her she would have probably broken down and blamed herself for Laurence leaving and abandoning her.  It isn't fair to have Aph listen to the onslaught of complaints about Laurence.  Not to mention that Laurence treated her pretty badly and people noticed. Even Garroth can't believe what Laurence did to Aphmau and Garroth was like Laurence's brother.  The new that Laurence is officially gone and he betrayed her will kill her and she does not deserve to hear it or is in a condition too. Garroth walks to the center of the meeting to explain what he knows from Travis and the others he talked too.  I will have to listen carefully, so I can tell Aph everything I know, even if it breaks her heart.

"I'm sorry to say, but what Travis said is actually true..." Garroth pauses, "Laurence has gone rouge.  I do not know what he is doing exactly, but he is no longer loyal to Aphmau.  People noticed that every since Aphmau and Aaron have got together, Laurence had been acting strange.  Last time they saw him, he ran up to Aphmau and kissed her.  She pushed him away immediately and asked him what was his deal and why he did it since she was with Aaron.  He got angry and slapped her and then stormed away in shadow knight form."

I am shocked right now.  No,  I am furious.  How dare he treat Aphmau like that and how dare she not tell me what happened.  I don't blame her for this, but next time I see that bastard I am going to kill him.  I know me doing that will hurt Aph, but I don't care.  I feel something inside begging for his blood on my sword.  I agree with this feeling but ignore the inner voice I hear telling me to do it now.

Aphmau's P.O.V

I get  to the meeting right as Garroth steps up to speak.  Garroth talks about that day.  The day I tried so hard to forget.  I  see Aaron and his face goes blank.  Oh no, I never told him about that day.  I guess Aaron was right, I can't handle this.  I am not cut out to be lord of Phoenix Drop.  Not if I can't handle my guards. I better leave before anyone sees me.  Sulking I walk to Zoey's so I can pretend I escaped to see Lilith. 

Aaron's P.O.V

I hear someone running to the meeting.  Immediately I pull out my sword and get ready to fight.  The person starts to get into my range of sight, but I can't make out who they are, just that their in distress.  When I finally can make out the person I realize it is just Katelyn.  Wait, Katelyn!  Why isn't she guarding Aph? 

" DON'T SAY ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JUST SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!" she screamed.

"Katelyn, why are you here and not guarding Aphmau," I ask her thoroughly puzzled. 

"Aphmau.... escaped ..... from .... the ..... house... somehow" she said panting.

"SHE DID WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I exclaimed.

"I don't know how, but she escaped and I expect that she is around here somewhere." Katelyn said exhausted.

"Well she is to late anyway the meeting is over." I replied.

"Good........................... I am going to go to bed." Katelyn replies as she walks away.

Now I have to find Aphmau. I wonder where she is.

An Hour of Searching Later

Aphmau talking is underlined.

"I found you" I whisped to Aphmau when I sneaked behind her.

I got punched right in the face.

"OWWWWWWWWWWWWWW" I yelled waking Lilith.

"AARON!!!!!!!!!! I THOUGHT YOU WERE ZANE!!!!!!!!!!"

Wow she really knows how to hit. I need to get back to buisness.

"Why did you sneak out of the house?"

"I wanted to see Lilith, that's all."

"Why didn't you tell Katelyn?"

"She wouldn't have let me go."

"You didn't try to go to the meeting?"

"No I respect your wishes (mumbles to herself 'that sounds very convincing, right')"

I want to see how far this will go before she snaps.

"So, you wouldn't mind me asking Zoey if you have been here the whole time."

"Oh go ahead"

"Oh Zooooeeeeeyyyy"

"Fine, I tried to sneak to the meeting."

"I know"

"How?"

"You are an awful liar. Plus I heard what you mumbled under your breath."

"Dang it"

"You are a good hider though it to me an hour to find you."

"Where you worried about me"

"NO........................... Yes"

"I knew it. Lets go home."

"Ok, but I have something talk about when we get there."

"Ok."
