Okay so a quick note to start this. This is the story resulting from a prompt given to me by TipeCrimeZ and MaladyCupcake so thank them for this idea :P Oh and I'm sorry you two that it took me two months to actually get around to this...but hey here it is :P

"Gabriel how many times do I have to tell you to clean up after yourself?"
"Jeez Cassie it's just a few lolly wrappers."
"A few? Gabriel I can't see my floor."
"Could be worse."
Cas just rolled his eyes, stepping on the wrappers as he walked into the kitchen of his apartment.
Yeah Cas had an apartment. Gabriel was currently crashing on Cas's couch.
Castiel and Gabriel Novak. Gabriel was the older brother, 23 years old. Castiel was 21, and was currently in college studying to be a literary professor or something fancy like that.
Gabe hadn't really tried to go to college or anything after school. Instead all he did was open a candy shop. People loved the place though, and Gabe made a living from it.
That doesn't explain why he was currently living at Cas's house though. His own apartment, the second floor of the candy shop, was currently being repaired after Gabe...blew up some stuff.
"When's your place going to be fixed?" Cas asked, walking back to where Gabe was now trying to make a tower out of the lolly wrappers.
"Trying to get rid of me Cassie?" Gabe asked.
Cas sighed. "Honestly? Yes. I have to study and you're just a constant distraction and annoyance."
"You're no fun," Gabe muttered. "It should be fixed in a few days. They just need to put the roof back on."
"What did you even do?" Cas asked. "Wait no. Don't answer that. I don't want to know. Now, can you please clean up the mess?"
"Castiel. It is a tower made of candy wrappers. It is art. I'm not destroying it."
Cas glared and kicked over Gabe's candy wrapper tower. Gabe looked at it in shock.
"That's it, I'm leaving," Gabe muttered, standing up and grabbing his jacket.
"To where?" Cas said. Gabe paused for a second.
"I'll camp out on the bottom floor of my building," Gabe said. Cas just raised an eyebrow at him before Gabe walked out of the apartment.
Cas shrugged as Gabe left and went to grab his laptop out of his bag. Now, while they all lived pretty normal lives, both Cas and Gabe did this little thing online. A little thing called fanfic.
It was for a show called Supernormal. Both of them openly shipped several of the characters and were happy to write fics about them. They'd been doing it for a while, and were pretty open with the fact that they did.
Now, this show was aimed at their age group. They weren't writing fanfic for a bunch of teenage girls. Just saying. (Yeah that's what they think. Kidding, I'm just trying to make it fit :P )
Cas would update his one book once a week, every Friday night. That was today, so he opened Wattpad and started writing the latest chapter.
