She stood there, in the wind. With the distant voices of kids screaming with joy, and the cluttering sound of the engines of the fair attractions behind her. She clung her leather jacket close to herself. The wind blew against her hair, blocking her view, making it a perfect time for Peter to scare her.

"Boo!" He screamed, putting his hands on her shoulders. Of course, she didn't scream, but she did jump in surprise.

"Oh! Peter, Hi!" She lightly laughed once she turned around to see a smiling Peter.

"D-did I scare you?" Peter asked, with the goofiest smile on his face.

"Just a little bit," [Y/N] replied, using her thumb and index finger to show the little space between them, before she put her hand down.

"So, should we go?"

"That was really fun!" She exclaimed, grabbing onto Peter's arm, with his hands inside the pockets of his jacket—exactly the one he lent [Y/N] the other day.

"Yeah," He chuckled, "We were so childish."

"I know right?" She exclaimed again, giggling and laughing like a child who's just been told that they're skipping school to go to Disneyland. "It's not everyday that you get to get on rides and act like a kid."

Peter only laughed in reply, the fog brewing up with the air from his nose and mouth, same goes with [Y/N].

They continued their short walk in silence, the streets void of anyone else, or any other noise than their soft breaths. To Peter, the distance from the area where they live in—which is pretty close—to the fair doesn't qualify as far, but to [Y/N], who would love to go outside, yet hates it at the same time, it's like an adventure already.

"A-are you cold?" Peter asked in concern, seeing how [Y/N] keeps on pulling her jacket tighter around her.

"Not that much." She stated.

Peter wanted to give her his jacket, but it wouldn't help much since it's probably even thinner than [Y/N]'s thick leather jacket, but Peter's just a little more capable of handling the cold than she can.

So instead, he wrapped an arm around her shoulders. He knew well that it wouldn't be of any assistance, but at least he tried.

[Y/N] turned her head to look at Peter, and smiled. She didn't need to say anything, and that simple gesture already means a lot.

"So, P—"

[Y/N] was cut off by a sudden loud crashing sound—one that involves the shattering of glass, and the crushing of metal, and soon a fire erupted behind them.

Both their eyes widen at the sight and [Y/N] covered her ears with her hands; a rusted land rover had just been thrown in front of them.

In instinct, Peter had his arms around [Y/N] and he was one to quickly drag [Y/N] out of her dazed state, looking behind him to see a large lizard-like man—or was it man-like lizard... Shut it Peter! The reptile roared an ear-piercing roar and leaped in their direction.

"Let's move!" Peter ordered, already dragging her out of her dazed state and into an alleyway, between two large brick buildings. Luckily, the lizard threw another car at them—which they avoided, of course—and it was perfectly placed before the alleyway, so it was a perfect opportunity for them to turn there, with the lizard not seeing them.

Peter began to panic—and yes, [Y/N] did panic, but not that much. She only held a panicked expression on her face while thinking of possible ways to get home safely—maybe even kill the beast.

Peter, however, was panicking due to his inner thoughts. He wanted to just quickly shoot spiderwebs (with his 'normal' civilian clothing, and his face uncovered) but that would risk not only him, but also his aunt, and [Y/N]—possible his school, if he was thinking of long-term.

So, Peter decided to run off towards the other side of the alleyway, with his backpack—and his spiderman suit inside—and left [Y/N]

"Peter?!" She screamed, "Peter, you're just going to leave me here?!" She then figured it would be useless to scream at him, so she just stood there, helpless, with her back pressed against the wooden wall of the back of the alleyway. She looked around for any exits to this kind of situation, but found nothing.

She watched as the lizard slowly made its steps towards her, growling at the sight of its prey.

But at the last second, The lizard roared again and it fell flat against its back on the concrete floor, and behind him, stood Spiderman. He swiftly pinned the lizard down, first, then cut off its roars with his spiderweb circling around its mouth, legs, and hands. Even adding more spiderwebs to stick it to the floor.

[Y/N] let out a shaky breath, thankful for her friendly-neighborhood-spiderman saving her life.

"Let's get you home." He said as he approached her, and wrapped his arm around her, shooting a web at the ceiling of the building that surrounds the alleyway, and swung them out of the secluded corner.

"Thank you, Spiderman, for saving my life." She sighed exhaustedly, when they arrived in the fire escape ladder just outside her apartment room. "H-how did you know where I live, though?"

She heard a low chuckle, and he spoke, "I... I need to tell you something, [Y/N]. May I come in? Just for a sec."

[Y/N] was rather suspicious of him wanting to enter her room, knowing exactly where she lived, and what her name was, but she let it slide, just this time, as he had just saved her life. So she nodded, and slid up the window.

Once she closed the window—though not the curtains— she turned around, and her breath hitched at the sight.

Peter Parker, was in the Spiderman suit, only, the mask off, and he was sitting on her bed.

"So... I'm Spiderman, [Y/N]." He said cheekily, smiling.

Now that he mentioned it, she remembered; his voice did sound familiar.

"I want you to promise not to freak out, and not tell anybody."

"Of course I won't freak out, Peter. It's a lot to take in, but I'll be fine. A-and I won't tell anybody." She chuckled, finally pulling the curtains close, and sitting next to Peter on her bed.

"I-I'm sorry for not telling you earlier, but that's not the only secret I'll be telling you tonight." Peter pursed his lips and it made [Y/N] feel rather uneasy.

He took a deep shaky breath, and said;

"I'm the reason Gwen Stacy... is dead."

Okay, so I have been planning on writing a fanfic for a while-a Peter Parker fanfic. I can't tell you what it's about because that'll spoil the whole story. I originally wanted to just put that story here, but then it'll be too long.
