"Jade, I know it's a hard time for you and I understand that you aren't up for doing anything but search for Perrie but do you think you'll be able to make it to the game on Saturday?" Jade's coach asked, he, as well as everyone else, was really worried about Jade it had been two weeks and there still weren't any news of Perrie. No one saw her or noticed anything suspicious as to why she disappeared. Jade wanted to groan and yell at her coach for being so intolerant and seemingly not having any empathy either, but then again she now realised that she was still wearing Perrie's sweater and still in their rented home crying her eyes out because the blonde was gone.
"Yeah, I think I'm ready, I'll be there on Friday but leave as soon as possible and look for Perrie" Jade said.
"Are you sure?" her coach asked as he could hear her sobbing and cracking voice clearly.
"Yeah, I have to get back up on my feet there's no way I'll be able to find Perrie if I'm crying to myself all day this will help me keeping my positivity" the footballer said, it wasn't easy for her but she knew she had to do something and who knows maybe she has to leave this hole in order to let the kidnapper think she's gone and let them leave their hidden spot.
"That's great then! I'll see you on Friday!"
"Hang on there's one condition"
"Which is?"
"Make sure no one knows that I'll go back and look for Perrie"
"Ok, I'll see you on Friday" her coach said unsure, but he knew Jade wasn't one to question.
"Bye" Jade said and hung up, there wasn't anything else she wanted to say or talk about she just wanted to be left alone again for some strange reason she thought she wanted to check her twitter since she hadn't opened it since the day Perrie left or better said was taken.
She scrolled through her timeline only now realising that Christina Grimmie had passed, she was confused why such a young girl would die at only 22 so she googled her story and was shocked. Jade was reminded of her talent, her covers she used to watch when she felt said or when she was bored and later on when Perrie showed her her videos describing every bit of her talent. That's when Jade learned to look at the young Youtuber from another perspective, appreciating every video even more and secretly she wanted to be like her. And one random day when she was left alone she discovered her "The Voice" performances and various interviews that's when she realised how kind hearted and funny the already talented and loveable singer was, she tried to stay updated on her life, covers and releases, she bought her albums and loved every song she had written, she was looking forward to buying her new album later this year but now she wouldn't get the oportunity to do so.
Jade opened Youtube and watched a few of her favourite covers again as she did with her song. When she was listening to Tyler Ward's tribute song to her and felt herself crying, she scrolled through Youtube's suggested videos and was shocked when she found more videos telling everyone about her tragic death than her covers or live performances, she thought how it would be if she searched Perrie's name.
She hesitated as she didn't want to know if people knew that Perrie was missing and if so how what crazy theories people have come up with in the last couple of days. Jade felt a weird feeling in her gut when she saw her finger hovering over the search button as she already typed in "Perrie Edwards" into the searching bar. "Christina Grimmie" could still be seen as the last search, that's when it dawned onto her that the same could have happened to her girlfriend, just being shot without a reason and their location was so far away from big media outlets and paps that no one could have realised.
The brunette cried even harder when she watched Christina's last live performance. She noticed the joy and enthusiasm the young singer brought into the performance she interacted with the crowd and smiled to herself like an idiot, when the crowd would cheer for her, she did not want this to happen to anyone let alone Perrie.
