"Say arrr" Erwin says, opening his mouth to show me what to do.

Me reluctantly opening my dry lips, cheeks flushing red and eyes of the other couples in the restaurant staring daggers obviously didn't seem to get to Erwin as he held out a fork, a piece of chocolate cake balancing on it, at my mouth.

"Erwin.." I complained "People are staring..." Dropping my head the people's eyes seem to pile on top of me.

"They're just jealous Eren-" Erwin tells me smiling "-for my love for you is what they'll never have" A smile creeps to my own lips as I open my mouth to argue only to have the sweet, delicious taste of chocolate gently pushed into my mouth. 

Me, with the face of a tomato, swallowed it before looking up at him both embarrassed and shocked, him just laughing "Erwin!" I whine "St-stop laughing.."

"You're so adorable" That blew it for me, me thinking I was about to faint any second. "Here, let me help you with that.." I raise an eyebrow watching him lean forwards and brushes a napkin to the corner of my mouth slowly peeling it off, me with closed eyes, then opening them to an amazing surprise of Erwin's lips pushed against my own. Slowly moving back down to his seat opposite mine he gives me a proud look "Sorry-" He apologies "-but I couldn't help myself, they were just so sweet"

"Happy anniversary!"

He raised an eyebrow, cringing "Happy anniversary? Hu?"

~ Eren's POV ~

"Er-Er" I was lost for words, for what words do I speak to someone who's forgot? "It's ... well ... um ... our-" 

I didn't have to finish my, what you may call, sentence when Erwin's eye's widened. "Anniversary.." His words were in a whisper, his eyes scanning the gift in his hands. "Tch"

Was that all? Was that all he had to say? He just forgot our damn anniversary and that's it?!

"Hello?"  Erwin speaks into his phone, present being thrown onto the table "What now? Yeah, yeah I can do that?" He looks back up at me before shaking his head and returning to the phone "No, he's fine here. Yeah I'm on my way, in a bit" Looking down at his phone he hangs up and puts it in his back pocket turning to me. "I'm going out with some old school friends"

"W-what about th-the anniversary?" Tears swelled in my eyes, me doing my best to hold them in "Wh-what ..."

"I won't be back till morning-" He adds pulling out the house and car keys from his pocket "You're not to go out, or answer the phone unless me - in which I'll wait till voice mail and you'll then pick it up, understood?" I nod sadly "Come here" 

"D-don't go!" I bawl into his chest as he rubs my back "D-don't leave me" I sob out.

"I must" Pulling away he pecks my lips "Let's just say we're now even, yes?"

"Even?" I question, my hand in his hoping he never lets go, but guess what? He did.

"Well this will take over your punishment for not making dinner" But-But it's our anniversary! He wouldn't really of punished me, would he? Already in the hallway, unlocking the front door he stares me down "By all means, you do not leave this house, no matter if the place is burning down, got it?!" 

"Ye-yes-" He crosses his arms, frowning "C-Commander..."

Sighing he shuts the door, his last words forever in my heart and mind "I love you, Eren"
