White roses pile up on the long green grass which has yet to be cut. Rain pellets down onto the black stone which holds the day of birth to death on it along with a picture of a woman smiling. They never thought or expected her to go so soon. She was such a loving, caring woman that for her to now be gone from existence made it scary to think who is next.

Tears slip down a males face, his rosy cheeks being hit by the wind. His eyes are closed and his breathing is calm, but his chest hurts badly and he almost feels like he's close to death himself.

One day, that's all he asks for. One day to truly say goodbye and bond with his beloved mother.

Birds dart across the stormy grey skies and into a large tree near by where other birds, their babies, cry excitedly for their return; hoping to be fed. Eren watches the feeding happen from afar gormlessly, just thinking of what it'd be like to have his mother back again.

But once someone dies, they don't come back again. And although that saddened him, he reminded himself every passing day that everyday brings him closer to his own death where he'll finally be able to see her once again.

Licking away the salty tears, he stands from his crouched position and strokes the fine stone sadly. Whispering a final goodbye he reluctantly turns around and begins walking away.

He'd see him mum again, and it might been sooner then he thought...

----

Time stood still. The clocks were jammed and no one was moving anyway. Hours had gone by and both males lives weren't known to be dead or alive. People pleadingly screamed for answers as they roared at the nurses emotionally. They didn't want to believe anything being said and they couldn't, for right now, neither were in the right mind.

Grisha was held back by doctors who forced his shaking body away from the operating room, while the others tried calming the panicked sister. Tears were running down everyone's faces by now and those who walked by said nothing, they just bowed their heads; understanding what might just be going on. They all showed their respects to those in tears, and just watching them bawl out a cry, making everyone around them want to do the same.

Finally the hours had ticked on and for what seemed like a life time, two doctors exited the double blue doors. The doors of doom is what they should be called because behind them there is either a healthy person or a dead corpse.

Jean was holding the tearful Marco's hand while they leant into each other, while Kirsta and Ymir both sandwiched Mikasa into a meaningful and caring hug. They knew no one deserved to go through this and there was nothing they could do about it.

Slamming his foot down upon a doctor who was holding him still, Grisha wiggled himself from both males grip and charged towards the doctors in waiting.

"How is he?!" He shouts, making all in the hall look their way. "How's my son?"

Sighing and removing the mask that made it hard for the doctor to speak, he looked down sadly; taking deep and solemn breaths. All eyes were on the male, hope in their eyes. They needed to know, but at the same time, they didn't want to.

Thoughts ran wild within their minds. Things like what they'd do and how life would actually be without them. Choking on their breathes while the doctors words came out in a jumbled up mess, his voice faded out and nothing seemed to make sense.

Whipping away the sweat that runs down his face, they all look away, sickened by what they're hearing. People quieten down in the back ground to show their respects while they all stop crying and just take a moment to take it all in.

"We tried our very best," was heard in the distance. "We don't know if he'll make it."

Looking down the hall to a female who said that, they all just stared at her gobsmacked.

Now you are probably all confused by what's going on, so let me tell you; when Levi had passed out on the concrete where the ambulance that once had Eren in it, they saw a large amount of blood along his arm and bleed out onto the floor. When hitting the ground, his head came into the ground with hard contact leading him to have a fractured skull.

The ambulance came in a matter of twenty minutes and by then too much blood left his system making him go to emergency care. By the time he was at the hospital, Eren was already on the surgery table.

He had a broken ankle, factors throughout his left arm and a collapsed lung. The drugs given were so strong, that his fragile body reacted badly to them and had him put into a comatose state. They said that if he didn't get better within the next four weeks that life support maybe needed in the mere future.

However it didn't end there. Levi's skull was so badly injured that it cracked inwards and nearly punctured his brain killing him straight away. Though, with a small surgery, they managed to pick out the bit of bone left lying around inside him.

The door he'd been open to save Eren had slit open his whole hand, up to his vein, cutting open a vein which shouldn't be touched. They tried their hardest to contain and stop the blood and struggled finding his blood type for it was rare. Once finding it they managed to give him some, in hopes it's enough to keep him alive.

Both males were in critical condition. Both males were placed in the same room with just a curtain dividing them from each other. Both of them had each other and the doctors and nurses just had to believe the best for their recovery.

With a 32% chance waking up for Eren and a 40% chance for Levi, they knew the family needed to be around them, with them, in-case it was their last time seeing them both.

Moving a sofa and many chairs in there for the whole lot of them, snacks and drinks were free from the hospital in their support and pity. All unable to eat, think, or move; they all stare at the dead looking figures whole lay on the pale blue beds lifelessly.

"P-please," the dad cries, "bring him back to me, please!!"
