Entering the living room to find your drunken brother wasn't a pretty sight. Lia couldn't decide whether she was disgusted or disappointed.
Yet again Tyler had visited the house, but not alone like she preferred.Turning her head ever so slightly revealed a much more alarming sight. It was Ashton, with a blonde tangled around him. What position was that even she thought to herself. She could almost taste the vomit desperately trying to escape her throat.
Slamming the front door shut didn't help at all. They didn't even bother to check who had entered.
She rolled her eyes stomping to the kitchen."Nice uhm..." Calum rubbed the back of his neck, taking in the vision that played in front of him. "I didn't get memo, was it bring your bimbo day?" He huffed, immediately receiving harsh looks from the two girls.
A little giggle was heard from the kitchen. Calum smiled lightly knowing exactly who it belonged to. It was imprinted in his brain ever since the night of the party.
Calum took off his shoes, feeling at home as he heard her laughter. He decided then and there that he wasn't visiting Tyler but rather his sister.Lia appeared in the door frame with her arms crossed over her chest. She sent Calum a smug smile when they exchanged looks.
"If you don't want to be a part of the brothel you can come to my room," she looked over to Tyler trying to get the approval. A confused look was plastered on his face as he met Lia's face. "It's not like that. I'm not coming on to your friend." She smiled at the thought. It was a little too late for that.
Tyler just nodded reattaching his lips to the girl on top of him. Lia grabbed at Calum's arm before gripping his hand and interlocking their fingers. As she led him up the stairs to her room he could feel the burning stare of a certain pair of eyes following along. He watched their every move, followed every step.

Her head swayed from side to side to the rhythm of the music. It was a fairly slow song with a female singer. Calum wasn't familiar with the song but the young girl clearly was. She would occasionally sing along but in a quiet voice.
And we know that we're headstrong and our heart's gone
Calum couldn't help but smile. She clearly liked the song and he loved that she was able to mouth every single word. Her eyes was closed and she disappeared into the music.
She had pulled out her small vinyl collection and displayed it on the bed. She talked about the songs and their meaning and which ones she liked the best.
Calum couldn't help but wish that she loved him as much as she loved her music. If that was the case they would have lived happily ever after.
"What about this one?" Calum reached over and grabbed one that had been tossed to the side.
"It's an early birthday gift but I don't really listen to it. I need to throw it out." She said sounding very uninterested all of the sudden.
"You can't throw a present away. You don't talk to the person anymore?" He opened it and looked at the artwork.
"It's from my dad and it's pathetic I never listen to Taylor Swift but he wouldn't know would he, too busy with his new girlfriend." It wasn't anger that filled the young girl's voice it was more disappointment.
"I'm sorry Lia that sucks." He had placed his hand on her back and was now running circles trying to comfort her.
"It's a long time ago it's just - I don't know really. I'm throwing it out soon though." Calum looked at her and wanted nothing more than to sit here with her until she was happy again. Although it was a long time ago it clearly still affected her.
"I'm just waiting for my birthday. All I've asked for was money because I really want Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die! That will be its replacement." She smiled.
Calum closed it and put it on the ground beside the bed they were sitting on.
"Thanks." Her voice was small.
"No problem." He sent her a smile.
"No for everything. Thanks for listening." She was truly thankful.
She never shared her music with anybody. She had tried once before with Zoe but she seemed uninterested so she really didn't feel like sharing it with her. Lia's music was her everything. She treasured it because it had been there for her when the loneliness was at its worst.
You could say it was her getaway. As Calum had sat and listened and nodded along with her words she felt a bond."Anytime Lia." She gave him a light kiss on the cheek.
"You can come to my birthday if you want. I'm turning seventeen and you're hereby invited to celebrate with me." Her eyes lit up. She knew it sounded childish but she was after all still a child.
Calum nodded calmly. Inside he felt pure joy. It meant the world that she had invited him to be there with her.
Lia was happy on the inside as well. She was happy and relived that Calum hadn't brought up their hook up and the fact that they needed to keep it a secret. It meant trust and she respected that he deemed her as trustworthy.

Ashton closed his eyes. As time went by he grew more irritated with the girl on top of him. She was too clingy for his taste. He could hear something coming from the upstairs. He couldn't make it out though. The girl moaned softly in his ears as she grinded on him.
Ashton's vision had become blurry when he saw the two of them together. The small action of them holding hands made him furious. It hurt. His heart had shattered when he saw the girl grab his hand. She was the one to take the initiative. It was her choice to interlock their fingers. His head burned, he wanted nothing more than to erase the image of them walking up the stairs.
He could hear something being played from upstairs. Was it music? It couldn't be. Lia never listened to music without her headphones, she wouldn't allow anyone to hear her precious tunes unless. Unless she was sharing it with him. Ashton's world crashed at the thought. She was sharing her music with a complete stranger. A stranger that would probably break her heart.
The disappointment quickly got replaced with anger. Ashton's temper practically went through the rough. He pushed the girl off him and headed up the stairs to Lia's bedroom. The only thing running trough his veins was pure anger.
