Chapter 2

Hermione's Pov.

I giggled again. "Thank you Harry. You always know how to make me feel better. Malfoy is so awful." I smiled at Harry.

"No problem 'Mione it's the least I can do for my girlfriend." I smiled even bigger. Just hearing that made my heart pound. Me, Hermione Granger, dating Harry Potter, the boy who lived.

I mean we are friends and all but I never imagined he would ever want to date me.

"I see you two are having fun." I hear someone say. It's the voice that had been bothering me all day.

"What the bloody hell do you want Malfoy." Harry says. Malfoy stares right at me. He looks really upset. I think I can see his eyes glisten like he's been crying, but he looks away before I can get a good look.

He stares at Harry. "Oh nothing Potter I was just walking by. Thought I'd have a little chat with you and your girlfriend. I thought you could do a little better than Granger, Potter, but I guess not."

And with that he walks off, leaving both me and Harry, with our mouths agape.

Draco Pov.

"Oh nothing Potter I was just walking by. Thought I'd have a little chat with you and your girlfriend. I thought you could do a little better than Granger, Potter, but I guess not."

And with that I walked off trying to be as confident as possible for someone who's heart just broke.

Hermione has never dated anyone. Ever. Unless you count that Krum boy. But of all the people she could have picked as her first boyfriend, she picked Potter.

*Flashback*
(This didn't really happen. I just thought it would add a lil something to Harry and Dracos continuing rivalry:)

"Your nothing Malfoy. Your just another one of Voldemort's slaves."
Harry said smugly.

"Ugh perfect potter. Oh everybody loves Potter. Well I can see pass the façade. Your just like your father. Snape showed me what he was like. Arrogant, spoiled, acted like he was better than everyone. Your nothing more than a photo copy."

*Echo* copy copy copy.

*End of flashback*

I shivered, and realized I was crying. I quickly wiped away the tears just as I stepped through the Slytherin door.

Harry Pov.

I can't believe what Malfoy had said. He drove Hermione to tears.
I wanted to kill him so bad.

I was confused. I thought I had seen tears in his eyes but I played it off as a trick of the light.

But still.

I shivered. Me and Hermione stepped through the portrait and into the Gryffindor common room. Ron was sitting on the couch with his arm around Lavender. They were snogging each other so I decided to go to bed. I kissed Hermione good night and headed to my bed.

Third Pov.

Hermione, Harry, and Draco all laid their heads down on their pillows at the exact same time.

Sleep eventually overtook them.

Hermione dreamt of Draco. She was in a field, and Draco was at the other side.

No matter how much she tried to run to him he kept getting farther away. She eventually gave up and sat down. The tears overtook her.

Whoa what?!?!? Hermione and Harry are dating?!?!?!

Well I had to do it. Ron and Draco just don't have the same hatred as Harry and Draco do.

Dont worry there is much more action to come.........and soon enough Draco will confess......*long sigh*
