Chapter 9

Draco POV

Stop worrying she'll be here soon.

I pace back and forth in the moonlight, waiting for Hermione. After so long I drop the rose I was holding and start to walk away.

"Draco wait!!" I hear her yell. I turn to see Hermione running towards me, hair coming undone, shoes in her hand, and her dress hiked up.

I start walking towards her and she throws herself into my arms.

I bury my face in her neck holding her.

She's gasping for air as she explains herself.

"I'm so sorry Draco! Harry set me up. I thought it was you and it wasn't and I...I just.....God I hate him!!" She bursts into tears and I'm filled with rage.

"Shhhh shhh it's ok Mione I'm here. I'm here. He can't hurt you anymore." I rub her back and whisper in her ear trying everything to make her feel better.

We sit on a bench on the garden under the moonlight, as I hold her. She eventually falls asleep in my arms, and I carry her back to our dorm.

I lay her in her bed and go to find Harry.

This ends. Now.

Harry POV

I'm staring out the window, at them.

Ugh.

What does she even see in him? He tormented her for years. And all of a sudden she loves him??? It makes no sense.

Draco gets up and carries her away. She seems to be alseep. I lean my head against the wall and close my eyes.

I didn't realize I had been standing there for so long until I hear footsteps approaching. I glance to the side and see Draco.

"What do you want Draco?" I say annoyed.

"I want you to leave Mione alone. You've hurt her enough, and I've had it."

I snap my head in his direction.

"Excuse me?! You wanna talk about hurting her?! Do you know how many times she wanted to end it all because of you? How many times I found her crying and ready to die because of your words?? You have no room to tell me to stop hurting her. You can't just live by double standards."

He walks closer to me, getting inches away and he's always been a little taller. His voice gets low and quiet and his eyes hold a look that could kill.

"I won't ask you again. Don't talk to her, don't look at her, don't even think about her. As of today Hermione Jean Granger does not exist to you. She's mine now and I'm gonna make damn sure she is never tainted by you again." And with that he walked away.

And I was left speechless.

Hermione POV

I wake up to Draco closing my door.

I get up and change out of my dress and wipe my makeup off.

I hear the common room door open and close. Curious I peek out and notice nobody came in.

Draco must have left.

I shrug and take off my jewelry and put on an oversized t-shirt.

I throw my hair into a bun, grab my book, and go out to sit by the fire and read.

After about ten mins I'm tired again and I lay down.

Before I know it I'm asleep.

Draco POV

I walk in the common room and see her sleeping soundlessly on the couch.

I smile and go to my room to change.

I take the ring box out of my pocket and set it on the dresser and sigh.

Maybe some other time.

I unbutton my shirt and hang it on the back of the chair.

I slip my shoes off and pants and put on some sweats

I look in the mirror.

Then I see her. I turn around and smile.

"Mione, you know this is my room right?" I take her in, starting from her feet and working my way up.

She looks down and blushes, as my hot gaze continues to take in everything.

"I know, I just...I woke up and didn't know if you had come back, and then I..I heard a noise and got scared and I was just wondering...if I could..uhm...sleep in here...with you...?"

I smirk as she stares at my abs.

I walk over to her and pull her into my arms.

"Of course Mione."

I pick her up and carry her over to my bed.

I lay her down and pull the blanket over us.

She turns to face me trailing her fingers on my chest. My fingers trace her thighs, and she shivers.

I smirk and move in for a kiss.

She leans in filling the rest of the space and before you know it we're in a passionate embrace.

I move down her chin to her neck, kissing and biting, making her moan up a storm.

I pull her into my lap, so she's straddling me and she pulls her shirt over her head.

I kiss down her body, then stop and look her in the eye.

Then she says something that takes me by surprise.

"I'm ready."
