I am still hyped about training later with Killian. I can't wait to see what he is going to teach me. Suddenly my thoughts were interrupted by a sudden thirst. I realized I haven't eaten anything since the transformation. Then Ana noticed my face and said,"Hey, I have seen that look before. It's the look of a thirsty vampire. You wanna go on your first hunt?!"

"What, no! I'm not hungry or thirsty, whatever you call it. Okay, okay. Who am I kidding? I am. And yes I wanna go hunting badly!" I replied.

Through excitement, Ana replied, "Yay! I literally just went on my first hunt like 3 days ago. It is so fun, and I don't know much, but I can teach you some stuff."

"Um, okay. Sounds great, but I'm kinda nervous. What's it like to...you know...to drink blood?!" I asked her.

"Oh, don't worry. You will love it. It may seem nasty at first though. But like the Queen said we don't hunt humans, we are animal hunters. Its not as bad as hunting humans, but it doesn't make us as strong. We don't always have to completely kill the animals sometimes. We have magic that can heal." Ana told me. The information she told me made me feel more relieved. At least now I know we won't have to fully harm the animals.

Ana had to go inform some guardians that we were just going hunting in the woods. They nodded their approval and let us out. They also said some other guardians were out hunting, so if anything happened we would be safe.

She led me outside. We had to walk for about ten minutes until we reached the woods. Then she turned to me and said, " You ready, Gwen?!"

I was really hungry and tired. I gulped, then nodded, then I said, "Yes, let's do this." Then we started to walk towards the dark, beautiful, and mysterious forest.
