We started walking through the forest. The forest was so pretty at night. The bright moon would shine through the trees and made everything kind of glow and look majestic. That's when I realized it was a full moon. I looked over at Sterling expecting him to start transforming into a wolf. I guess he figured out what I was thinking and he explained, "I can control the transformation during full moon. It takes practice and energy, but I got it under control."
"Oh okay, 'cuz I was a bit confused," I replied. We kept on walking in silence, just listening to the quiet night and critters. Then I decided to ask, "So Sterling, when did you first transform, what was it like?"
He began explaining his story, "Well I had just turned 13. It was extremely scary and painful, because my family never explained that I was a werewolf before it happened. It happened the night after my 13th birthday, I just felt this sharp pain and heat rush through my body and I got bigger and had fur, pass, claws, yellow eyes,the whole wolf thing. I realized what I had become and was so terrified that I might hurt my family so I ran into the woods and hid. But then I actually found my family transformed in t woods, too. We were all surprised. That's when they explained everything. They were going to explain on my 13th birthday when I was supposed to transform, but I didn't and they thought I was like a defect or something. But they still knew that they would have to explain later. They just weren't expecting me to change the night after instead. I was pretty mad at them for not telling me anyways, but I got over it. Becoming a wolf was the best thing ever."
