Evan glared at the back of the chair.
His feelings were so unclear that he felt like punching himself in the face and yell 'get a grip man!' To himself. But he couldn't seem to grip his feelings, in short he thought he would go mad if Logan kept on dancing the way he was with Stella. His hands were all over her and she seemed to enjoy all the attention he was providing. Gritting his teeth he swore under his breath as he pulled Layla along with himself to the dancing floor.
His hands roamed all over Layla's body as she seductively danced, grinding him. From the corner of his eyes he saw Stella and Logan walk towards the garden and swiftly pushing drunken Layla aside he stealthily walked behind them.
" I need to go.", Stella stated, looking at a confused Logan. She tried hard to forget what happened earlier and she had accomplished until Evan decided to dance with Layla. She couldn't take it anymore, she needed time to get over him.
"What's up? Is something wrong?," Logan inquired lovingly. And a dry smile crept up to her lips. This was the man she had used to get to Evan."I'm sorry," she mumbled as tears rimmed her eyes.
"Let's talk later," he said hugging her.
Evan saw all this, his fists clenched by his side. He seethed with repulsion that he felt for her. Now when she couldn't get Him she was going for her second option Logan. He felt sick. She was the girl he texted all this time and dreamt of. He felt sick of himself, how could he even think he had started liking her. He hated her and that would never change. Walking towards his friends he gulped drink after drink until he felt nothing. Neither disgust nor the pinching of his heart. Carefree he danced until he was wasted.
Stella stared at the night sky, tears never stopping. Logan pulled out a tissue and handed it to her.
"He'll soon realise..." He trailed off seeing the confused expression over her face.
"Logan, I need to tell you something," although she needed all her courage to speak these words, she decided she couldn't burden herself further."I know Ella, I know.", he stated with a knowing smirk settling on his lips as he continued." You dated me because you thought by dating me you'd get near Evan and that at last he'd see who you are, but things never went as you planned. You felt guilty for using me and dumped me. This caused the enmity to increase and he hated you even more." He stated matter of factly and continued," and then you texted him, you're the one he texted day and night!," he completed.
"H-how?," her eyes were troubled as confusion clouded them.
"You know sometimes you underestimate me," he said and then smiled.
"The first time you texted him, he showed me your number and asked me if I knew who it was. I searched it in my phone and Bam, it was you!" He said smirking.Stella smiled.
"And, you're welcome." He replied.
Stella smiled widely as she hugged him. For years she thought Logan would be hating her but here he was helping her all this time.
"Now let's get you home and start working on our project!," he declared while Stella stared wide eyed at him.
"What project?,"
"Project 'convincing Evan!',"
"Convincing?," she asked disbelievingly and raised one of her shaped eyebrow.
"Shut up Ella!,"He whined and pulled her along with himself as they sat in the front porch.
"Convincing Evan that he has feelings for you," he explained.
"He's convinced that he hates me!," she provided, clearly disagreeing to whatever his mind was brewing."We'll change that." He stated and stared at her straight in the eyes.
"One week Ella and he'll be convinced that what he feels is the opposite."I hope you like the chapter
